If we're talking Cambridge bands, the list is fairly long and the quality high - Pink Floyd, Henry Cow, Tom Robinson, Katrina and the Waves and of course (also featuring Kimberley) the Soft Boys.

If you're looking for an Abbey or United supporting connection the pool is a bit more select.

Robert was actually from the next door town but they all went to local schools etc.

Too many lads spend years in bedrooms perfecting electronic beats nowadays. Don't dislike the music I just dislike I don't get to hear it.

Yep, and the band was formed in Crawley so that's all that matters really. But 'Friday I'm Love'? Shit tune IMO. Early Cure is where it's at.

The now disbanded All the Young , had a cracking debut album signed something like a 6 album deal then vanished. A couple of the lads were/are big Vale fans and a few tunes got played on our Norman Collier style tannoy.
