c'mon b/h don't be sad,
despite the results it ain't all bad
if we had known before the seasons fuss and commotion,
our current position could still end up with promotion
I know its hard to watch the current spectacle,
but over the past years we'd have given up a testicle!
to be where we are now still in with a shout,
lets all stand tall with our chests out
and keep the faith as loyal hatters,
cause at times like this solidarity matters!!
Thought we were absolutely abysmal for basically all but the first 5 minutes but somehow go in 2-0 up. Actually getting a bit of luck for once. I'll take it!
WTF is going on hatters? I was sure you were going to stop the rot today, even more when I saw you were 2 nil up.
Don't tell it's because of Tyler? (best conference keeper 2013/14, and definitely one of the top 3 in league 2, though I'm sure someone will come along to disagree soon)
It's honestly so many things going wrong at the moment but in my opinion losing Wilko, McNulty at the same time as Doyle really disrupted the only strong point of the team this season, the defence.
Without them we were left with a soft defence and an already very shit attack so not surprising we got on a losing run and everyone lost there confidence. Doesn't help that when McNulty and especially Wilko got back they have looked shadows of the players earlier in the year. The amount we sat back in the second half today was an embarrassment and in my opinion that lies firmly at Stils door.
The football is just absolutely shit to watch, I'm dreading going to the rest of the games this year as it's just shite. Exeter played really good stuff I thought, wouldn't mind as much being on a shitty run of results if we at least attempted to play a bit, Exeter showed it can be done today.
That was a deplorable performance - Exeter deserved everything they got although we certainly didn't help ourselves.
The players are unfit and don't look like a team at the moment. The players are arguing amongst themselves and just aren't showing the willingness to go out there and do the business.
No idea how we ended up 2-0 up - that would've been the biggest robbery this season.
Yeah not sure what McNulty and Guttridges problems where. I know Guttridge comes across as quite an abrasive guy but felt like they were going at it all afternoon. Even after his goal!
We weren't really sure how we were 2-0 down at HT in truth. We weren't really creating anything but were having more possesion. Luton had two real chances and both were taken, although I'm sure it was a foul in the build up for the second goal.
Either way second half I thought we were brilliant. A great goal to get us back into the match by Harley and from then on we were dominant. A well taken goal from our centre back JMT to level it and after having a goal disallowed 2 minutes before our winner, I thought that was that, but luckily a ball in from the right was met by a header from Ribs which hit the post and rebounded to Wheeler who bundled it in from a couple yards.
The thing noticeable about Luton was how after conceding the first, their heads just seemed to drop. Obviously that will be down to the bad run they're on.
