Probably gonna get humped, as we usually do against Man City! Striving to be the league's 'poor man's' version of Pep and City, means that we're only ever going to come off very badly when faced with the real McCoy, in their own back yard.
Missing Lerma through suspension means our central midfield is going to be very soft. For all Surman and L.Cook's neat and tidy passing, they're hardly going to be winning the ball back when out of possession, which presumably will be a decent majority of the time. So once City get on the ball they're unlikely to be stopped until they get towards our box when Ake pops up. And there's only so long Ake can keep say Aguero or Jesus quiet.
We have an important game on Tuesday against Huddersfield, for which we're better putting more emphasis on than this one!
Should have been a penalty and 2-2 with 10 to play, now that would have been interesting. Attwell bottled it. But overall City obviously much the better side, though it was much more respectable than previous trips. As usual, Sterling scoring against us! Always looks a world beater to us.
We've got it out the way having given Brooks a bit of a breather, and managed Fraser and Stanislas' game time. So all eyes on Huddersfield for them now, hopefully got enough in the tank for that because it'll be a hard fight of a night.
