Sold out 400 away fans allocation, so club have requested more. I'm sure we will create some atmosphere.

Difficult to tell how we are going to cope with the enforced 2 week break. Few players had started to look a bit tired and jackson was hampered by a groin strain so hopefully it's been a help, but also would rather not have interrupted such a great run if form.

Expecting a tough game from mansfield, surely some sort of reaction is due after some disappointing results for them. 2-1 win for Stanley

400? Bloody hell, that's a real phenomenal effort for you boys, well in. You'll be granted a warm welcome in the club house or the railway etc in town if you get here with enough time.

It's obviously going to be an Accrington win, their run is amazing, ours is shocking, and we never, ever beat them, ever. Plus danny Rose is out meaning we have no decent forwards playing, though Kane hemmings will huff and puff but won't blow the house down.

However, one thing in our favour is that we've only lost 1 at home all season (ironically to our current manager).

0-3 Accrington.

I would be extremely surprised if we got anything from this. We haven't beaten Accy in 13 attempts and there is nothing to suggest that will change tomorrow. We are very poor of late, no real goal threat although we may get the odd chance. 1-3 Accy.

Looking forward to the trip down, not been to mansfield before.

Tbh would take a draw if we can beat notts at home on Monday. Or vice versa. Would take us to 78 points, just 13 points off guaranteed automatics with 7 left to play. Don't think even us could mess it up from that position.

I'd bite your hand off for a point. The only way that'll happen is if it's 0-0.

Can't believe Accrington are 2/1 to win, never been so sure of a loss in ages

The problem being is that forest green (I couldn't make it, fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you view it) was described as the worst performance of the season from start to finish, players were played out of position and the players didn't look motivated.

Whereas the players are responsible on the field without doubt, if as a manager you can't get motivation after 4 games of being in charge I'd be deeply, deeply concerned.

Who knows, tomorrow could be brilliant and we've battered them, but they'd need a totally astronomical turnaround from what was provided on Saturday, or indeed any of the performances from Coventry onwards for that to happen.

Over 600 sold according to our website. Prob one of the bigger away attendances. Considering we only have 950 season ticket holders it's pretty good for us

That’s Accrington all but up now. 10 points ahead of 4th with 2 games in hand.

A phenomenal achievement.

I thought Accrington were pretty good even though we played with 10 for most of the game.

Can't see us getting anything from Luton. Not sure where our points are coming from with this guy in charge.

As expected we lost.

Predicted before the game and turned out to be the case.

I'd congratulate Accrington if they weren't a bunch of cheats, we need to learn to con refs more

Do you want to join the club Adam? I was thinking of starting a petition about the possibility of the FA deducting them lot, say,10 points :shifty: I want people to see them for what they really are, and not as some club overachieving on a supposedly shoestring budget. People are always having a go at Ainsworth and his Wycombe side but I truly believe Accy are bigger cheats.

I have to admit though that I really wanted Coleman to manage us not that long ago, but after some careful deliberation I thought I'd rather have a pretty average but honest manager like Joe Dunne than that cheating scouser.

I apologise in advance if my post comes across as sour grapes, but believe me, that's not the case at all.

Every team in the league cheats. We were one of the best at it until a couple of weeks ago!

I felt Accrington had a goal in them and we didn't. A draw would have been fair too but we can't grumble at a loss, they were that bit better than us in the final third.

Having looked at the red again I don't despute it, I couldn't see from my angle as a player was in the way.

But literally each and every challenge on them they went down holding their face, their leg etc etc. It was really unfortunate. We were maybe sometimes had under evans, but not like that

They're obviously good at what they do and cheating as they're top of the league, maybe we should all do the same and sully the name of football further. Whereas I'm sure they won't care giving they're going up, I was embarrassed for them

We didn't score as, predicted hemmings or Angol couldn't score as they're useless

Was a red card, bad foul. Jackson later went down clutching his face as he had just been whacked by your defender. Otherwise it was just the standard roulette wheel of chance on when and if the ref would give a foul, as is the case for about 80% of league 2 games - the refereeing quality in this league is terrible.

Thought we made hard work of that. But as has been the case for about a third of our wins this season we have managed to find a way to get 3 points despite the performance. Sign of a team who might win the league. Our keeper prob deserves MOM as had to make 3 or 4 good saves. Thought mansfield were one of the better teams I've seen, along with luton and cambridge. Looks like you've blown your chances of autos though. There's always next year....

A petition to the FA would be hilarious. We deserve to have points deducted because we have won more games? Maybe every team should have points deducted and awarded until we are all on the same amount?! Just to make sure it's fair.

Maybe we have been awarded a lot of penalties because we play of the game so much in opposition penalty areas. Luton have also had 8, grimsby had 9! (They are obviously also cheating their way to relegation).

All this complaining about cheating from fans who loved Steve Evans until recently. :obama:

You beat me to it Forza.

When you appoint a two faced loud mouth mercenary fatty fat boy, you have instantly sullied your own own club and football in general. Posh the latest to be guilty of the offence, no doubt Evans will get them promoted in the not too distant future

On the Jackson one even your manager was telling him to get up. There was nothing in it at all. Benning deserved his red.

The jackson attempt to go down was infront of us and was hilerious, I couldn't work out whether to laugh, be annoyed at his blatent attempt to cheat or feel embarrassed for him.

Which did you opt for in the end? Hang on, were you the hyperactive reindeer mascot on the touch line??

Most of laughed, even Coleman did. the lads smart though, as were Accrington. It's how football is these days. Apart from danny Rose were too honest and don't go down at the faintest touch. Oxford did it a few seasons ago on their way to promotion, mix that with a talented bunch of lads like you've got and it's a good mix.

We're too naive, and need to become more streetwise on things like this.

And that Clown Nolan is still moaning !!
He's the new Steve Evans, certainly the mardiest manager in this league now.

As a neutral at yesterdays game, I thought it was pretty even for the most part which is credit to Mansfield for playing most of it with 10. I was a long way away from the red card incident and I've not seen it back yet so not too sure on that one. I was surprised at how open both teams were (or couldn't defend) as there were gaps absolutely everywhere. My MOM was the Mansfield right back Hayden White, very impressive performance from him. Referee wasn't the best, but that worked both ways for me. Missed some very cynical man-handling of Jackson in the 2nd half in particular when he was looking to break through on goal.

On another note, I never realised that Mansfield was a hotbed of absolute dickheads. Bought my ticket in the corner of the main stand, which filled up with families and old timers generally, until about 10 minutes before the start and the influx of the Stone Island massive began. Genuinely not a pleasant group to be amongst so I moved for the second half, but then met up with them again on the way to my car at the end of the game when they were waiting outside for the Accrington fans to finish celebrating and get to their coaches. Quite a lot of punches thrown and all totally unnecessary.

Shame really.

There is unfortunately that element to Mansfield, it's a real shame as the vast, vast majority of our fans are real decent salt of the earth sort.

I walked through the lads waiting for a fight on the way down to the pub. It's all very childish and sad. No place for it in football
