Absolutely gutted when I heard the news this afternoon, one of the first Aldershot heroes for me growing up and seems to be a lovely guy off the pitch (did some great work for anti-racism campaigns and launched a very successful fashion brand), and also put money into the club to get us out of administration in 2013 which shows his love for the club.

Rest in Peace, Marvin!

Sad news. I was surprised that he came to us considering he had been on the receiving end of racial abuse at the Vic. But he put the effort in during his brief spell, and his only goal was a winning one. In a spell when we needed all the points we could get, his contribution was appreciated.

He seemed to be a smart bloke too, with his head screwed on and a post-football life all mapped out. Sorry to hear of his passing. RIP.
