Having come so close in a couple of categories, it is nice to finally get my chance on the stage.

Thank you Craig for running and hosting a fantastic awards night and for giving me the opportunity to present such a fantastic award.

Before I move on to the top 3 in the Member You'd Like To Meet category, I would just like to say that whether or not your name has gone up in lights tonight, every single one of you in 1FF land are winners in your own right. Congratulations to each and every one of you who have made One Football Forum such a great place to be and the best football forum on the world wide web.

Right then, on to the bit you are all interested in. There are lots of people on this forum worthy of a meet out there in the scary real world...... PaulHaddock, Cheese & Biscuits, Son of Cod, NorfolkWomble (just don't go in his shed) and of course Dave just to name a few, so with names like this on the shortlist this must surely be one of the most difficult awards to win.

So without further ado we shall begin with the 3rd placed member or members who 1FF would like to meet.............................

So in no particular order 3rd place in the Member You'd Most Like To Meet category is shared between..............................

MARTINO QUACKAVELLI​

A very much loved character on 1FF where he can be found frequenting the shoutbox on a regular basis showing off his wit, charm, knowledge and desire to become a 1FF mod. Martino is a Preston North End supporter who showed his generous side last season by deserting his club to throw his weight behind Leicester City's push for glory in the Premier League. Leicester will never forget this.
All of this was enough for a number of fellow 1FF members to decide that they would like to take Martino for a drink to get to know the Martino away from 1FF.
2nd best newcomer 2016 is now followed up by this award. Well done Martino Quackavelli

JOHNNYTODD​

Johnny's name is firmly embedded in 1FF folklore and the fact that he has already won a number of awards comes as no surprise to anyone. His love for Everton is second to none but it is away from the footballing world where Johnny really comes into his own. His 'The Flat Earth' thread is quite simply a thread that just keeps on giving (and has given Johnny the Thread of the Year award and the worst thread of the year) and will continue to do so for as long as the earth spins and he has held his own in many in depth debates in the politics section as well.
I had not considered myself as someone who would like to meet Johnny but having now read his post about his exploits in Holland (won him Post of the Year), I think I have to strongly reconsider as others have obviously done in making him an in demand person for meets in 2017. Well done johnnytodd ​

So as is the norm in these ceremonies, we leave 3rd place behind and we move onwards and upwards to 2nd place.

And would you believe it, we have yet another tie as 1FF yet again finds itself unable to separate between 2 fantastic members of this great little community. So in no particular order here are the 2nd placed members of 1FF who some would like to meet........

JJH​

A mod, a Bristol City fan, an England and Gloucestershire cricket fan and all round great guy, JJH has taken 2016 on 1FF by the danglies and made it his own. Renowned for taking advantage of his modship role, telling people how it is regarding our national football team, being at the end of his tether with his beloved Bristol City and having the wettest season ticket known to man, JJH is a well known and much loved figure both in the shoutbox and around the forum.
All of this has seen enough people wanting to meet JJH in person, probably to discuss Wayne Rooney's world class credentials, to give him a very creditable 2nd placed finish and confirm him as a member others would like to meet. Well done JJH

LOOK OUT THERE ARE LLAMAS​

Look Out There Are Llamas, or Llama/LOTAL to his friends, is Mr 1FF. If you think about a llama, you can't help but think of 1FF. Such an easy going guy and such a great guy, I feel honoured that I am able to present such a prestigious award to the love of my life. He can be found frequenting the shoutbox on a daily basis and you know that if you are there at the same time as LOTAL you will be entertained, whether it is his love of London, his love of alcohol, his love of working from home or his love of the London Underground you can guarantee he will have an entertaining tale to tell. And on those occasions when he has nothing to say, he will become a musical maestro via vocaroo as he sings his way through his favourite disney songs.
For some reason, I spent the first couple of months on here thinking he was a Rochdale fan but he is not a fan of anything northern. In fact, he is a Leyton Orient fan and despite his love wavering slighty at the moment he will never escape his love of the O's.
He is more than happy to invite his fans to visit him in London Town and he now has a multitude of other members wanting to make the journey to the big smoke to get to spend time in the company of such a fantastic person. Well done Look Out There Are Llamas ​

And finally we reach the number 1 spot.
Numero Uno, numéro un, Nummer Eins, número uno, the member of 1FF that the most other members would like to remove from behind their keyboard and get to know them in the real world

ABER GAS​

Aber Gas claims the top spot with a mammoth amount of members of 1FF stating that they would like to head out to the Welsh Valleys to meet Aber gas in person. A Bristolian by birth who now lives in his favourite place, Wales, Aber G is an all round top guy who adds this award to his League 1 Poster of the Year award.
A fan of the blue half of Bristol, Aber spends any time he's not in the shoutbox in the kitchen where nothing is too difficult for this master chef. Aber, the time has come to open up your restaurant to 1FF as you have a queue of people wanting to come and get to know the real Aber gas.
