After Alistair Cook ends his International career as he started it - with a century v India can you think of other famous endings - both good or bad for a sportsperson.

Be it scoring the winning goal in their final game or winning their final race at a major Championships?

Or some not so great last appearances...

Fabrice Muamba.

I picked one that didn't die because I didn't want a public outcry.

I'm not Frankie Boyle.

When we got relelgated from the Championship on the last day away to Wigan a few years ago Roger Johnson clapped their fans and gave some kid in the Wigan end his shirt...

They listed off a few people who announced their retirement before their last appearance/tournament on Test Match Special yesterday.

Can’t temember all the names.

Some Leeds Rhino bloke won the challenge cup or something.

Dan Carter winning the World Cup with New Zealand.

There was quite a few others across various sports. Will have to try and remember them.

Graham Alexander scored a free kick with his last ever touch as a professional footballer to earn us a point against Charlton a few years ago, that was pretty special.
