Fucking hell that Notts commentator either needs a few weeks off or for his balls to drop.

They did but you have to remember who they were up against, would back your lads over them any day of the week, they are one of the few sides this year that Omotayo has looked remotely useful against so heaven only knows what your front lads would do against their defence. They are technically good on the ball but still think you are the better team based on both your visits to the Walks - you hardly got out of 1st gear when you came.

We were missing Cameron at the back on Tuesday - he makes a ridiculous difference to us defensively to the extent that we’re yet to lose with him in the team, but have a very dodgy record when he’s out. Someone like Omotayo is what causes us the most issues really, he also caused havoc when we played Wrexham at the end of last season, which is no surprise when our back three on Tuesday included two who Burchnall has converted from full backs and no one much over 6 ft. It’s great fun, but we will always have problems away at places/teams like Lynn.

We were terrible first half, we're slow starters which may well cost us but that first half was as bad as I've seen us for a good while.
The defence is ok but the keeper has lost all confidence and looks an absolute liability.
You may be right about Chessy though, one defeat all season can't be luck.

Patterson is back for Barnet, I think? Don’t really care about the Trophy game. Slocombe was at least partly at fault for both goals - good free kick but it was pretty much straight at him.

Cleeve thought it was a penalty, he's livid. He will be out for blood now, as Burchnall is clearly a virgin he should be extra worried about Cleeve flying in through his bedroom window to bite his neck.

He’s a father of two, show some respect (surprised he’s not tried either of them at centre back)

Some great quotes from Kev Maher, that is demonstrating the change of attitude and character the coaching team are bringing to the club:

“You’ve got to earn the right to play for this club,” said Maher.
It’s not the other way round. Players aren’t doing us a favour.
They’re the lucky ones who get to pull on a shirt. We’ve got to remember that.
This is a good club, it’s a proper club.”

I think in the position we were in when Phil Brown was sacked, it's proved the point that the right thing to do was bring someone into the club who knows the club and where it's been and what it is capable of. To get two people, Kev and Mark Bentley, both with coaching experience was a bonus. Then to add Darren Currie as well is a very shrewd piece of business. I definitely think we have started a journey back up. How long it will take, who knows? but hopefully we have bottomed out, especially with the news that the ground is not getting called in for a public enquiry and the detail to complete the planning stage can now be completed.
