Be interested to see if anyone thinks anything other than Mark Cooper to be honest.

Mark Cooper just seems to be hated by fans of one or two teams but I know little about that.
If we're only talking about current League Two managers then there seem to be none of the hated men of old, no Steve Evans or Graham Westley for example but I wouldn't say Cooper was especially unliked either.

All the main ones are in L1 such as Evans, Artell and the like.

I don’t like Evatt too much, seems full of shit and thought he was a disgrace in how he treated their keeper but not really a disliked.

Copper is copper, similar to Adams or Yems in attitude but don’t mind that too much.

Never really had a major issue with Cooper that can think of.

Evatt seems a bit of a clown with one or two things he has said but is just looking more a figure of fun than anything as each week passes than anything dislikeable. Certainly not if compare him to Westley.

Managers who try to bring a 'philosophy' of playing it out from the back in L2 are the worst to have because as soon as they realise it's not working after letting in so many comical goals and lack of chances they just resort to aimlessly hoofing it with no plan at all its terrible to watch.

Evatt is sounding more of a bellend every time I hear from him. Anyone would think Bolton should be strolling the League the way he talks about them.

I've never got the hatred for Cooper personally, though I've heard him have a few goes at the Radio Glos reporters on occasion and a lot of the time it was completely unnecessary.

He's definitely one of the more prone to talk out of his sphincter is Evatt, though not quite as odious with it as Dave Artell is. More reminiscent of Nathan Jones or Danny Cowley, whose comments often bordered on the laughable.

We all had a good giggle when Jones claimed that Luton had been the best team over the season despite finishing second.

Cooper is Marmite at times with our fans, however this season for probably the first time I think the majority are right behind him and maybe even warming to him...his interviews have definitely improved and at time there is humour, though it is as dry as the Atacama Desert, he seems to be taking the blame when things are going wrong rather than throwing a player under a bus...or electrically powered vehicle. He has started to acknowledge how important the fans are...which is a major departure...I wish he had worked that out a bit sooner but better late than never. I think he may be in the last year of his contract and I really hope that Dale gives him another one.

What' wrong with Artell.

I cried when Williamson replaced him with an overweight player called Paul Butler.

I can get on board with the dislike for Evatt. Had us playing good football, but for someone who got us promoted, he won't go down as a club legend.
He's also a bit of a Tory, based his philosophy on some shite book promoted by Oprah Winfrey, and had to leave town after his todger made an appearance on the internet.

Sums Barrow football up that our promotion back to the Football League after 50 years was overshadowed by Ian Evatt's chopper.

While I do get the Cooper hate, I've always rated him as a manager. Sorts defences out, plays good football and brings young players in from lower down and through youth teams.

Probably Evatt. OTOH, my current fav is John Yems
Thanks for that - he is a breath of fresh air - actually says how it is and takes on the press when they ask stupid questions - you actually know what you get from John he doesn’t hype up any game, player - according to him every game is winnable and if you don’t think that then you might as well give up. This is what he instills in to the players - also you can never second guess what the starting line up or formation will be.

I think Steve Evans and Graham Westley should still win this prize even though they aren't in the league.

Evans is a cock. First game in the EFL was Crawley at Vale Park... he didn’t go down well with Micky Adams... when we equalised he kept waffling on about he will just spend more money etc. Micky had a right outburst on the radio after about what a nice fella he is.

When we won promotion we played the reserves at Wycombe last game which we drew and Rotherham took second place of us and at the POTY night listed that as his one regret “letting that **** finish above us”

Westley... where do you start. First came across Stevenage when they were non league and they played us in the cup, they got a last minute equaliser to take us to a replay and their antics prompted Tommy Fraser to refer to them as “cocky from the top down” he got sent off before the replay and missed it but sat in the away end and ended up squaring up with Roberts if I recall.

Down the years I’ve hated playing Stevenage at VP as it’s the same (even under Maarmria) shit every time. Chucking themselves down, faking injuries, time wasting at a level above although last time under Sampson they were more normal. Pope ended up slating their antics suggesting he would rather retire if they were the only club in for him. Their players were actually telling Pope they had to do it as the manager told them they had to and he heard them discussing who should go down because one had been booked.

Maamria and Westley were a disgrace. Actually going there their fans and set up is quite pleasant but jesus some of their teams and managers. Thought we’d got rid of them

Westley left a corner of the pitch unconvered 'accidentally' one time when we were due to play at Stevenage and both teams were going for promotion from League One. They had a few players injured at the time and the match was postponed. When we eventually played the rearranged match, we'd picked up a couple of injuries while they were back to full strength and won.

We also beat them under him in the conference playoff final way back when, and he's had a bit of an obsession with beating us ever since.

Steve Evans is like marmite, and at that time when we came into the league he did have a bottomless pit of funds - I knew him during his time at Crawley and away from the pitch he is a completely different person - we played at Forest Green on a Tuesday evening and were losing at half time and he had right go at my son for something that he thought he said - the following day he had a phone call and Steve invited him to his office and gave him an apology for the outburst - he and Steve still have the occasional chat to this day years after he left Crawley.

Evans once got so wound up against us when he was managing Boston that he had to be escorted out of Blundell Park by the police during the game.

Sometimes read Westley's column in the League Paper, the man comes across as a self obsessed prick. Evans and his sidekick are utter c*** on the touchline, the Cowley brothers aren't much better

Of those in league 2 Wellens is hard to like.. Apart from that not many are that bad, Yems must be a ballache for the local media but is very entertaining.

In non league never liked Steve King, seemed like a prickly little bastard, was rumoured to in the running for the job here a few years back when we appointed Pennock.

cooper was managing Swindon when they beat us 0-1 at Vale park, it was the most egregious display of cheating i've ever seen. a conveyer belt of players feigning injury, we spent more time watching players rolling around than actual play.
The amount of them that could barely put any weight on their poor injured legs only to burst into a full sprint seconds later was crazy

i don't think i've seen his FGR side do it though so maybe im being unfair.

Kewell always gets a bit of stick from vale fans after some particularly deluded post match interviews.

wouldn't say he's hated though but worth a mention at least.

The Cowleys are a couple of bellends too, especially the main one.
Do they still tell their keeper to take a lie-down at around the 70 minute mark so they can have a chat with the rest of the team about tactics?

Listen to how many times Danny Cowley describes someone as "Top, top" when he's on the EFL Quest programme - you'll certainly hate him after that!

Wasn’t he the one moaning the grass wasn’t cut short enough? Like we should suit his team?
