I really wish Ron had gone to Kings Lynn, they would have got on so well. Ron claims there have been a 'significant number' of Southend fans doing this and he knows who the biggest offenders are.
Southend have electronic turnstiles, which have coloured lights showing whether adult or child are entering, so stewards should be stopping them, of course Ron has claimed the stewards are in on it as well.
The Kings Lynn Chairman wasn't there for that game. He was on holiday

He was there, I saw him and said hello. The best thing was, apart from the shirt he was dressed exactly the same as Phil Brown.

Yesterday I went to Erith Town v Hollands & Blair. Step 5 fare in the Southern Counties East Premier division, so as tinpot as you can get. But what happened in the 2nd half was something I don't think you'll see in professional football.

Erith were bossing the game 2 up and comfortable in the second half. We were sat behind the dugouts, heard the Erith manager say to someone else 'give me a couple of minutes, I'll be back.' I thought, oh he's popping off to the loo. No, he walked to the end of the stand and suddenly, over the shouts of the players and directions from the benches, came the sounds of very loud retching as Erith's manager hurled up whatever dodgy club food he'd been eating.
Even more surreal, while he was vomiting his team scored a 3rd goal.

Was that before or after he was offered the Southend job…

Clearly inspired by Ted Lasso style coaching.

Tell you what, Erith were very impressive for a step 5 team, they definitely passed it about better than Southend have this season, so I wouldn't turn him down!

Just as tinpot is the fact that Sheffield Wednesday have taken so many away fans to a match in a competition that should be boycotted in its present form.

Getting loyalty points for the chance of away tickets for games at grounds with small away ends.

You forget how "massive" they are at this level lol.

TBF though, they do take big followings, there's no denying it.

Yeah we’ve got them next Tuesday and have given them 2,500 tickets. Apparently they’ve sold out every away allocation for the last four years which is a great effort.

Must admit when I watched them, I did find the "highlights" slightly strange as in they showed a lot of our mistakes as highlights, such as taking a short corner that was immediately intercepted plus a few others.

Guess they enjoyed showing the winners mistakes to fill out the video rather than genuine highlights of the game

Arsenal fans singing “Arsenal are the greatest football team the world has ever seen” whilst currently being outplayed by Crystal Palace I think deserves a place in here.

Haha and right on cue Palace go ahead too.
