Most of us Stags have tried to erase last season's fixture from our memories and swiftly move on.

This season hopefully it will be somewhat better, we don't have a great home record against York and of course Oliver will come here with something to prove. But on paper, we should win this one. Our home from isn't great but we tend to do well against bottom half sides and York aren't having the best of seasons.

In normal circumstances a draw wouldn't be the end of the world but we really need to start winning games at home if we want to keep touch with the playoffs. Hopefully Muzza will go more attacking than in previous games, though being fair we have played a lot of decent sides at home. We've been missing Nicky Hunt so having him back would be a boost and I'd like to see Beardo given a chance with Green up top, I'm not too confident about the latter though.

We beat the bottom sides at home so I'm confident of a win. Could probably bet your life Oliver will score against us though. I don't think it will be easy but I do think we will get 3 points.

I believe our next 3 games are all at home, if we're serious about challenging for the play offs we need to be looking at winning two of those, it really has been our achilles heel this year.

Well if Murray decides to be adventurous yes, the next 3 games at home could go a long way to deciding our season.

We need to be more attacking and adventurous at home

Started "again" with 451 at home to a side that had won 1 in 17 games before, and as it stands were drawing with York.

Come on

Murray again goes fucking 451 at home and again fails to win. Now winning 3 in 13 home games this season.

I appreciate we've progressed, but what planet does he live on when we play at home? Does he watch the same games? Does he think it's acceptable?

Had I been saying this last season then I could understand how some could say it's going OTT of something, but he's assembled a great attacking side but refuses to unleash what he thinks we've got.

It's getting boring

Should have won that TBH. We had by far the better chances, just lacking the killer instinct in front of goal once again. The York goal looked about a yard offside BTW. Need to see the replay.

That was wank, at one point we were on the half way line with 6 players static. Fucking woeful, Murray can delude himself all he likes. We are not good enough for a top 7 finish without a change of tactics at home and someone up top with Green because watching him run around and fall over is boring.

The team screams midtable right now. Rumour that was going around the stand was that Taff is gone so I hope we have got good money for him.

Doubt it with him being out of contract. Heard we've offered him one but his agent has told him not to sign it.

From a York fans point of view, I thought the game itself was very scrappy but quite entertaining. The game was very end to end the more it carried on and both sides should have (definitely) scored more than once.

Both teams were not clinical in the final 3rd and did lack some quality. I thought yorks performance was decent and a much better improvement from 3 games ago losing 5-1 to accrington. Mansfield looked good at times but generally were not much better than York today.

Our keeper made a string of quality saves to keep us in the game and was probably our best player on the day along with the CB's. Mansfield came very close to scoring on numerous occasions and really should of scored (that miss from a few yards) but to my relife did not!. Then again Oliver similarly almost turned in a great cross from our winger and we wasted some great chances too.

Overall I am more than happy with the result and this sharing the point is fair (a win would be nice tho). Credit to the fans that did make it down from York considering the flooding this week in good numbers. And thank God matts Blair didn't score!

I assume Blair isn't living up to his expectations at Mansfield then!. I would have him back gladly. Was a great player in his time with us and an all round legend after scoring his 2 goals in the play off promotion of 2012.

Personally I thought he looked a threat going forward yesterday and was dangerous down his flank. Didn't do much for you in midfield,It was clear he was looking for a shot almost everytime Mansfield opened up a opportunity. If you have the chance to get into the playoffs, you want Blair in your side. Pops up with a goal or 2 (did for us amd against us). Or you could pass him back over to us???? We need plays who can live up to the standard league 2 is, and not loanee's

That's only the second time I've been this season and I didn't think it was that bad. I was amazed that we were passing the ball.

I agree it's a major improvement however there's something not right at home, we seem to concede a sloppy early goal then have to chase the game all the time.

Blair is meh for me as I've never seen him actually perform in L2 like he did in the conference.

I like Blair. Certainly more dangerous than Lambe but not yesterday, and he's better than Nathan Thomas. He's had one good game and that was against some Sunday league right back who plays for Hartlepool.

See I like Thomas, he was quality when he came on yesterday. He has electric pace to get into the areas where we needed to.

I think you have to blame the players for some how not scoring a second goal yesterday, Green miss was unreal.

We started poorly but it became clear as the game advanced York are really shit, and it's quite a worry we did not manage to beat them to be honest. I think the claims above we did not look better than York is ridiculous.

We were all over them. Bar Oliver's header did they really have another decent chance? The foul for the free kick aswell sums up the refereeing performance yesterday. But it's such a sloppy goal to concede and it's the same every week at the minute.

Not sure why Green's confidence looks shot after a good month in November. Murray won't be worried though, He's already said he dosent expect MG to start scoring until the end of Jan after a long time out injured. We do play some half decent football at times but yesterday we spent too much time punting the ball forward for me, Not helped by the fact the 2 central midfielders were just infront of the back 4.

Nevermind, 2 points from the play offs and 6 points from the next 2 at home and it will all be forgotten. We look much better when Hunt is playing so hopefully he is fit enough for Saturday.

I didn't think the play warranted booing at the end of the game. Perhaps that shows how far the team has come recently.

Blair is no way better than N.Thomas, and definitely not Lambe.

He's all pace & nothing else, no skill, can't cross & never gets into shooting opportunities...

Thomas was immense when he came on yesterday, but just like Blair and all L2 wingers are hit and miss.

Well thomas needs a run in the side, don't see why not, the lad is eager, he just isn't given a chance

Anyone seen the York goal replay yet? Looked well offside from where we sit on the 18 yard line.

Murray quoted that being down to him not being consistent enough which of course as previously said is every winger in L2.

I agree on Blair , he's all pace and 2/10 crosses are decent , Thomas yesterday in the space of 5 mins of coming on skinned his man 2/3 times and set green up which if he just nicked the ball he'd of scored , I think he met it to cleanly if you get what I mean ?? I still don't think we'll make the playoffs as were to inconsistent , but in saying that I'm very happy with what AM is doing at stags and if he can keep the majority of this side with a couple of quality additions in the summer there's no reason why we can't have a real go next year !!! 1 game at a time lads were in good hands UTS
