Totally agree. Brand New Age by The UK Subs is a fantastic album. I still have the original album in clear vinyl although like most of my favourite vinyl albums I now have the CD too. To be beaten by Cyndi Lauper is almost criminal, although looking at the votes at the minute is shows The Strokes one vote ahead of Lauper and The Subs.

Who said anything about liking different music makes you weird? I listen to nearly all musical genres, and I also listen to what other people call weird shit. My point is Cyndi fuckin Lauper is pure pop shite, the kind of crap that gets played on the radio ad nauseum, and as music lovers know, mainstream pap is only produced to shift units with little (if at all) artistic merit.

So yeah, I'm disappointed her album won this group.
