8 wins on the spin at home for us, need to make it 9 and keep some semblance of pressure on the top teams, Sutton are away to the easy beats as they continue their ruse of wanting promotion and lots of winnable games for all those around the top 7.

Must win for us at Wealdstone. Some of you may say only half a season gone for us etc.
The issue is we are not performing well, everytime Torquay lost points we did as well and now find ourselves 12 behind Sutton.

Defeat and there simply has to be a management change but no idea who the owners would look at.
Doubtful Knight will be playing from what Ardley said as hes well behind in match fitness. Roberts seems to have been forgotten about now.

Maidenhead 3 points from their last 5 games - got to be hoping for another win here.

We’ve been a lot better away this season for some reason and we’ve never tended to have a terrible run for long under Ardley, so I think we’ll probably win this one. Probably one of our 1-0 specials.

Do I think it’s going to do anything to allay the worries about the general performances this season? No, I do not.

the same team probably unless moxey is remarkably fit. the last couple of games we have had andrews at left back but woeful there. against hartlepool we had to play boden up on his own with no support. andrews should be in a more attacking position.

to be honest im surprised we havent signed a left back and a fast winger . nemane badly missed. will the keeper feck up again .....probably

We are ravaged by injuries and appear to be on a spending freeze since the end of grants was confirmed, so down to the bare bones. Should be an easy win for you guys.

Tomorrow is a potential banana skin for Sutton, it’s not a game that we should take for granted.

We've just beaten top (at that time) Torquay and Notts County 4th in the last 3 weeks aswell as a point against Hartlepool.

Onto a home game against 18th who have just sacked a manager and been hit for 5 in midweek.

Andrews shouldn't be on the pitch. Was decent in the NLS but he's not up to this level. I'd go with a back three personally with Hall moving back between Lewis and Sherring. Wynter and Whitfield as wing backs. Buse in the middle with Randell, Evans playing behind Boden and Waters.

Probably also go with Brzozowski in goal as well if Covolan isn't fit. As you say MacDonald just makes too may errors recently.

There’s no doubt we’ll play shit, but that’s often been enough to win this season, so who knows.

‘Crisis talks’ amongst the players suggests the manager is getting desperate, as well he might. Under pretty much every Notts chairman I’ve known Ardley would have gone by now, but these Danish lads are a bit of an enigma.

Yep, typical Halifax Town that. In all seriousness, I'm expecting a tight game and see us scraping a 2-1 win.

Yep, I’ve not been getting carried away with our form but after the games we’ve won we should be looking at this as an opportunity for another 3 points, especially with a tough home game midweek to follow.
Rest midweek should hopefully have done is good and we will be bang at it

Must win game for us tomorrow, season's slipping away. We're poor to watch, struggle to score and now the defence has started leaking.
Our owners are silent which many take as them being happy to see the season out with Ardley but I suspect it we lose and the ppg is going off target they'll act decisively.

I imagine we’ll go 4-5-1 again but hopefully the team press as a collective, I can’t say it’s something that’s happened all season but tomorrow would be a good time to start it. Irrespective the slope should play to our advantage.

Ross Lafayette has to be the focal point up top tomorrow to give us a shot of us picking up points.

Pack your midfield and attack with numbers and unless we change the way we've been playing you'll create enough chances over 90 mins to convert a couple.

Our game’s off due to one positive Covid test in the Dagenham squad.

Can’t believe we’re still at a stage where we get one positive and a game is automatically called off.

Going to start happening more and more with the testing being mandatory. Especially when mass groups of schoolkids are walking to school less than a quarter inch a part without a mask in sight

Premier league have mandatory testing but they don’t postpone a game for one positive test.

Yeah, Halifax fans, dont take beating us as good. At the moment we are mid table at best with a squad thats top 3.

The issue is NA wants to play football, pass, pass, draw a playet, pass, hit it down the wing, pass, into the box pass, shoot.
The problem with that is that we are playing with predominantly NL/L2 players. L2 player would struggle with it. Yes we have scored some great team goals but one mistake and we are chasing.
High press and you will force those mistakes.

Abbot was interviewed recently about the high press "play over it" was his reply, we dont.

I see us getting to the playoffs but i see us losing straight away this time as it stands

I doubt RLF will start tomorrow as he can’t do back to back to games. If you have noticed, he starts one game and then in the bench for the next.

It’s a shame fans aren’t in as County would be in for a huge shock. Tiny ground, fans close in, small changing rooms and the slope. A far cry from the plush Meadow Lane.

After having two isolation periods as a squad I think this is the FIRST game that Rowe has been able to have a full week on the training ground with the squad between games since he actually came in (His first game was 28th November!!)... which is crazy really!

We should be heading down to Maidenhead in confident mood really and fresh legs as a result of Rowe rotating the side in recent weeks. I don’t think it’s going to be straight forward though, the pitch at Maidenhead is usually crap which could make for a scrappy affair so we might have to win in a different type of way today if we’re to get 3 points, which I think were capable of from what I’ve seen.

Won't be easy today and we always struggle against Eastleigh. Will be a tight game I reckon.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Home to Altrincham. Might as well go for it, games in hand, and a few wins and there could be a frisson of excitement. On the other hand, mid- table mediocrity beckons. Gale force wind set to blow straight down the pitch, so inevitably the ball will spend the entire game in the air.
Feeling optimistic, so 2-1 win, onwards and upwards.

We were in this league last season too you know.

I agree it’s a shame, though, one of the ones that I would definitely have been really looking forward to

Our problems really all go back to missing Roberts. Pressing us the way teams are with him in the team would be suicidal because of how quick and sharp he is turning and dribbling. He’s been out since November now though, which really ought to have been enough time for Ardley to come up with an alternative plan considering the players we have available.

That is nonsense.

It is indeed but league and government rules. I guess once others are tested and the all clear given we should be able to continue. Our owners have paid for testing twice weekly through the whole season until the league and FA finally stepped up.
