3/03/2020

Solihull v Harogate

14/03/2020

AFC Fylde v Aldershot Town

Barrow AFC v Wrexham

Boreham Wood v Torquay United

Bromley v Chorley

Dover Athletic v Chesterfield Town

Maidenhead United v Stockport County

Notts County v Eastleigh

Sutton United v Hartlepool United

Woking v Dagenham & Redbridge

Yeovil v Barnet

FC Halifax Town v Ebbsfleet United

Apart from the obvious big games for Harrogate and Barrow one of the most important is probably;-

AFC Fylde v Aldershot Town;-

Fylde finally won a game after more than 100 days with a last gasp goal away at Dagenham on Tuesday and face an Aldershot team that have very nearly secured their safety. I have a horrible feeling Aldershot will slip up here and let Fylde back in with a chance of avoiding relegation. With Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead both likely to lose Fylde would then have a better than 50-50 chance of staying up....

Well that was shit.

Our favoured option now is an abandonment of the season so we can at least pretend we would have finished in the play-offs if only that bloody virus hadn't come along.:bdick:

I'd like to the season finished somehow, even if it starts in October. At that point I'd tack it on to the next season the 2019/21 season. Not because Notts are going well at the moment I just don't like the idea of not finishing this one and starting another.

IF UEFA wants the main leagues finishing by the end of June then the National league would surely have to be the same....

I'm sure they do but I doubt we'll get out of this purgatory quick enough to actually fulfill the fixtures.

i agree there, but my thought was that if things have to be decided by the end of June then the premier League (and also) EFL will have had to agree on what to do with the season by then if (when) the games have not been played - and the National League will have to do the same.

That is what UEFA is saying now but I think they’ll realise a bit later that this is not a realistic objective. Far more practical to tack the end of this season onto next season and start 20/21 in October/November.

But what about players contracts? Many will expire in the summer across all levels :bl:

The majority of players out of contract will be surplus to requirement anyway, and the ones that aren't will surely play on as a bit of a favour (see Willian at Chelsea). Not like the next season is going to be starting on time.
