There's a pair of Brotherhood clashes bank holiday Monday, good luck to one and all.

We've got injuries coming out of our ears right now, lost Muir and Anderson yesterday, they'll be missing as well as Molyneux and Mr Styrofoam knees that is Luke Williams who is injured for the 42nd time in his Pools 'career', I'd imagine Kabamba will be back in upfront, with Toure and maybe Luke James the other side? Really not hopeful about our chances but we have to start winning again soon.

If there's any Wrexham fans travelling keep your wits about you tomorrow, bank holiday drinking and there's always that thick element in town that get a jolly when the 'Welsh are in town' The Corner Flag and The Millhouse pub, best place for away fans drinking around the ground.

Chorley at home for us and we need to win, really. People are being quite patient so far but the failure to beat Ebbsfleet after being in front twice and the fact we have lead in our last five games and only won one is starting to grate.

Don’t really know what to make of Chorley. Have sounded fairly organised apart from two games where they conceded 10! Don’t seem to score many, mind.

I’ll go for 1 or 2-0 Notts with goals for Boldewijn and surprise hit (so far) Regan Booty.

Firstly a thank you to Chief Rocka for learning to spell Barrow the way us Barrovians do....

Barra v Halifax;-

IF (and it's a big IF) Barra can play for 90 mins (or close to it) against Halifax as they did in the 1st half at Wrexham and yesterday at Chesterfield then I don't care how good Halifax are playing this could be a rout - but if we play as we did in the 2nd half of those games we could lose. But this is lucky game number 7 - so i'm going with the rout - 5-1 to Barra - Quigley (2), Dyson, Angus and Greaves all to score for Barra with the consolation probably being a header from a corner. The team is so close to ripping someone apart - it was nearly Chesterfield yesterday - so why not Halifax on Monday if we can concentrate for nearly 90 mins....

If we can put the game to bed when we're on top and cut out the sloppy mistakes at the back I'll be fairly confident we can pick up three, which is exactly what cost us yesterday.

I’d take a point tommorow but I feel the better team on the day will win. Not much in it for me. 1 goal in it either way I reckon

We don't hear too much from those Wrexham and Hartlepool fans that were all over this place in June and July, does anyone know why? :db:

Us and Yeovil both look very mid table with the way we've started the season.

A draw therefore seems to be the shout.

Who cares about the football? The main talking point is the epic Wooderson v Chief Rocka start a match thread battle. This time Chief Rocka strikes a blow. Tense as fuck this.

That's mighty big talk for team that's 15th. You got balls I'll give you that. I'm putting it on the record there is absolutely no fucking chance it could be a rout, unless you meant in OUR favour. We've already ripped 2 teams apart, so there's that. We're coming up there to smash you. :bdick:

Well, the Notts Mad forum is baying for blood, there were a few on the terracing at Ebbsfleet having a loud moan and if we lose tomorrow the bi- monthly Notts mental sacking thread will be up and running.
You may say that a club that couldn't supply a bus or wages for players in Julys first friendly and signed six players two days before kick off and is only three weeks into the season and four unbeaten wouldn't be even contemplating blowing it all up and starting again but that's not how we roll at Notts. Oh no, if we're not top six at all times then the manager is always in jeopardy.
Lose tomorrow and the balloon will go up.

Tomorrow is probably the time our winning run comes to an end. I’d take a draw. Before our inevitable loss to Barrow next weekend.

We’ve only conceded 3 goals so far this season looking fairly solid against the couple of hoofball teams we’ve played. I assume Dover are still very direct. Going for 1-0 Dover (late winner).

We are nowhere near as direct as Kinnear’s teams. Hess says he wants to play football.

Atm we have no back up defenders fit.
our wingers are causing opponents most problems, but they offen don’t appear till late in the game, so you need to take the lead and hold on.
Also.We have 4 wins from 4 away but only 1 win at home.

Hmmm goals against - 4 in 6 games, so your 5 in one game is a tad optimistic. That said former strikers (especially those that were shite for us) invariably score against us so i expect to see that lump Quigley get that token goal. 2-2 draw

i'm expecting more of the 'garbage' that our manager described us as on Saturday.

We won’t win today, our last win at Aldershot was in 1998, so it’s one of those bogey fixtures

Stuart Nelson out injured so Marcin Brzozowski comes in for his debut in goal. Rhys Murphy replaces Myles Hippolyte and Luke Wilkinson comes in for Tom Whelan.
