Maidenhead v Solihull
Sutton v Ebssfleete
Torquay v Barra
Woking v Eastleigh

Chesterfield v Notts (17:20)

2 wins in 2 for our caretaker manager, although not exactly playing great, in fact Saturday was abject, we need some forward drive in our midfield, I'd drop Hawkes for Holohan, Kabamba for Muir and go from there, be interesting to see if Sweeney sticks with four at the back with Kitching getting mauled last Saturday by Brackley.

1st v 2nd at Bromley gives one a chance to pull away and game of the day Notts travelling to Chesterfield, should be a decent crowd in?

I've got a horrible feeling we are going to lose, and Joe Quigley is going to score.

We need to find a way to get out of this rut. 11 games now without a win.

So 1-1

We’re back to being rubbish. You’ll sneak a 1-0

I think we've lost momentum with the postponement the other week and the loss in the cup at the weekend.

2-1 Torquay.

We tend to be pretty dreadful when the TV cameras turn up. Chesterfield form is pretty fair the last five league games. Wouldn't be surprised if we lose this, would be happy with an away point.

Yeah after the last time we played at Chesterfield I would be very happy for a point. In fact we are in very similar league positions to that occasion too albeit a league below.

We should be taking the full allocation, I know 1500 were sold beginning of the week.

Defo have BTTS on this one.

Should be a decent clash at Chesterfield. Battle of the giants with Denton v Ben Turner. Don’t see any reason why we can’t get 3 points, especially if our attacking players are on form, but as the lads above say, I wouldn’t be unhappy with a draw.

There 's no reason not to be hoping for a win logically just I remember last time we went and our record in live TV matches

We will be lucky to get nil. Taylor is at last chance saloon with at least 60-70% of our dwindling fan base so a defeat could see him closer to the cliff. At this rate we will be matching Chorley in the goals for column come Xmas.

I'll get in there early and say we are gash so prepare yourselves.

As for the crowd - a large number of our fans are boycotting so it'll be empty in the home ends. Notts bringing 1500 may make the crowd look respectable but certainly won't be the 8/9000 there would have been a few years back.

I'll be watching on the box more than likely. Not been to a home league game since March and don't really have any intention on changing that unless the clubs sold.

I would expect a very tough game at Hartlepool. Both teams recent form has been fairly mixed and whilst he has generally looked pretty awful, I think we will badly miss Pavey's physical presence.

Draw perhaps the most likely outcome.

No idea what to expect from our game at Chorley. Would normally think a win but I can't see a lot of our fans making the trip.

Despite being 2nd from bottom and us being 3rd, Chorley are favourites with most bookmakers.

Now, now. We all know being "gash" has no reflection on a score more so in a Derby.
Last time we played you, u were awful, heading down and getting popped every week. Then, TV game at home to Notts and you thrash us.

II fully expect this game to be a leveller. Whether that means you raise your game and ping the ball around or drag us down to "your level" it won't be one sided.

I'm going 1-1 or 2-2, we seem to be consistently scoring 2 goals so maybe leaning on the 2-2.

That televised game last time was horrific. We were flying high, Chesterfield were well on their way to relegation and we managed to make them look like Napoli for the day. Reason? Dreaded TV cameras.

With the TV cameras there, with the big away following , and with the current league standings for each club this has home victory written all over it.

I note, disappointingly, that the bookmakers are sadly already aware of the above.

I predict 2-1 to Chesterfield and an invasion of Stags fans on this thread

Strange not making a draw favourite given their record this season? They seem to draw 0-0 a lot.

Is tomorrow being specifically boycotted? Or has a boycott been going on for some time? (Genuine question btw not a dig at Chessie’s attendances!)

Not tomorrow specifically. Has been rumbling on for a few years now.

There was a thread on our forum gauging numbers who would return should we be taken over (the hope is this was someone maybe interested putting feelers out) and there was hundreds of replies from people who had all stopped going mainly because of Dave Allen/Ashley Carson etc.

Quite sad really, i've barely been to a home game for 3 years but still travel away when I can. I'd be back if the club was in the right hands. There will be about 4k home fans there tomorrow I guess max which will make the ground look fairly empty.

Be just like being back in the league this, sold out away end, team we’ve played loads before and fully expect us to find a way to lose.

Winning and being the team to get Sheridan sacked would be exceptionally enjoyable, though.

There’s about 10 of us meeting in a pub showing it in Birmingham after Walsall tomorrow, I’m quite looking forward to this, though not sure who would want to win.

You’ve put together a decent run of late and chesterfield have won a few also of late. Pretty easy trip on the train

The last time I went to Chessie we won 3-1 under Martin Allen so good omens for the game. Aggro after as well.

Waterlogged is looking a fair bet though.
