Aldershot v Barnet
Chesterfield v King's Lynn
Eastleigh v Wrexham
Halifax v Hartlepool
Stockport v Sutton
Torquay v Altrincham
Boreham Wood v Weymouth
Notts County v Bromley
Wealdstone v Maidenhead

Pretty full fixture list this midweek.
3rd attempt at trying to get Halifax v Hartlepool on however the weather is dry but frozen with heavy rain due tomorrow. Do we dare postpone this again at the risk of another tongue lashing from Mr Stelling. I can see it being off again though.

Our form is inconsistent to say the least. However our injury record this season has quite frankly been a joke. This game might just be a few days too soon for Hyde to be fit sadly from our point of view. Summerfield is also now out for 3 months which is another blow

Other big games Torquay against Alty is a battle of 2 sides in decent form

Stockport v Sutton looks pretty tasty aswell.

There's no shot this game goes ahead, there's no point in us even bothering to travel down, forecast is rain/snow and 0 degrees and we've all seen your frost covers.

Weird old time for us at the minute. On paper, we’re the division’s form team and clear at the top of the ten game form table. But you could make a convincing case that we haven’t actually played well in any of them, we’ve just stopped conceding completely. To be honest, I think we’ve only conceded four or five goals not from set pieces all season.

If your glass is half full, you’d say that being top of the form table while playing badly is a great sign. Alternatively, we’ve scored fewer than Yeovil and Wealdstone.

Bromley are unbeaten away from home, and I can’t see any reason why it’s not going to be another extremely tight game that will be settled by a goal either way.

There not frost covers they are bed sheets for the groundsman to sleep under

However in general no one in this league has played more games than us only Altrincham have played the same amount so we must be semi decent at getting games played.

Just seem destined not to play you guys till March it seems. Hyde might be fit by then though

Don't get beat - the reverse fixture on Boxing Day was a strange one with Maidenhead extremely clinical (think they scored from all 4 shots they had on goal) and us unable to get past their keeper who was excellent.

Ashley Charles may get a go as defensive midfielder following from his successful loan spell at Concord.

I believe we are setting off to Eastleigh today, so hopefully the league doesnt get pulled in the meantime!!

if it does go ahead, I am thinking a 0-0 bore draw

Forecast for Halifax is snow from 2am to 10am, then sleet for 3 hours then rain until midnight tomorrow. Pitch inspection is just a courtesy, it won't be on. It should be fun watching Jeff kicking off again though. :ds:

Only from January through to March. We just play away from home for 3 months until we can get it looking like Blackpool beach for the last 2 months of the season

Really looking forward to tomorrows game at Torquay.
This will be a good yardstick for how we are doing,... against what seem to be the best side in this division.
Its may also end up being our last game this season so might as well make the most of it :box:

Yeah you look in decent form so should be another good test for us. Our stream is fairly decent if you're thinking of signing up, commentary is pretty cringeworthy but minimal buffering issues and we have a proper camera, not one of those automatic ball following ones.

If we concede fewer than 3 that would be quite an achievement.

Are there any Bromley fans on here? Does anyone know if Bromley are any good this season? Gave us two really good games last year, beating us at their place and losing unluckily at ML. I fancy us to nick one again, 1-0

I think Bromley are one of those teams like Sutton where you always get a decent game out of them. When do you ever hear of Bromley or Sutton getting tonked? I may be wrong but I can’t remember any time.

We've had a fair bit of snow too but it's melting already so game should be fine. If we get a signing over the line we'll definitely make sure we get it on. 2-0 defeat incoming :D

Come back to this comment when we lose 0-1.

Yeah but Hyde's 1 week away from Fitness and we haven't found a new ball playing midfielder yet. So we hid the shovel's after we'd finished dumping a few more inches on the pitch that is :shifty:
You lot need to all catch up anyway. The team that can't get games on has played more games than anyone else in the league minus Alty

Yep, no Twitter style shit the bed reactions from me, right call.
A Hartlepool fan with a bit of common sense?! It’s a miracle. The majority of your fan base are an embarrassment on Twitter. The other two fixtures maybe had a slight chance if we could somehow invest in better pitch covers (although the council own the stadium so wouldn’t say that’s our financial burden technically) but this one stood no chance.

That's not what you were saying this morning when we were down there shovelling snow onto the pitch :shifty:

It's Twitter what do you expect? A regular person + general anonymity + target audience = raging shitlord, it's the same with any team only this has been amplified now because of the number of postponements, I think the only flak that can be shot at Halifax is over the second postponement when you cancelled a pitch inspection confidently then it was pulled an hour before kick off.

Yes that was a bit bizarre however Challinor said himself the pitch was playable around the time of the planned inspection and was then frozen at the time of kick off so he kind of stuck up for us
