Another terrible performance for us, bailed out by Ross Fitzsimons saving a penalty in added time.

Radcliffe might be the least enjoyable team to watch in the league, their gamesmanship was worse than Alfreton's

How we are still top considering we've won 3 games in 10 i'll never know

Excellent performance by Chorley against a horrible, moaning whingeing outfit, nearly as bad as Alfreton! Got an odd opener as they failed to deal with aclong throw into the 6 yard box, the ball going in off a defender. We added a second just before HT with a superb strike from edge of area by Dubem Eze. Second half their keeper made several very good saves to prevent Chorley adding to their tally, KL eventually got one in added time with Omotayos first contribution to the game in the full 90 minutes.
Only goal difference separating the top now.

It's yours and Curzon's for the taking

Two of the main tipped sides (Brackley and Chester) sit in 13th and 11th respectively. The team with the biggest budget sits at the top by complete luck because we are terrible, we will be nowhere near come the end of the season

I don't think there will ever be a better chance for Chorley or Curzon to get promoted

Looked like a serious reset to our approach today and it worked a treat. No Weeks or Glendon, neither of them in the squad at all.

Sitting in the naughty chairs just behind the manager.

We drew 1-1 at Oxford. The first half was a non-event that they slightly shaded. Second half their left-back scored a sweet first-time half-volley from just inside the area, and we thought that was it. We scabbed a goal from a set-piece that they failed to clear soon after, then we were the better side for the rest of the game but couldn't kill them off.

We are somehow 5th without being particular good. The only two sides I've been impressed by so far are Hereford (who walked all over us), and Chorley (who set-pieced us to death).

It’s interesting the amount of fans who always say not very good when up near top, I haven’t felt league is that poor this season more so quite even…….a lot of games can be tight and not sure anyone will run away with it.

Certainly still a chance someone mid table could run off to title.

I don’t think Curzon will be title challengers but think this season we have e replaced the brackley position, strong, hard to beat but not quite goalscoring enough to get there .

But kiddy game will say a lot, I said our big issue is at home and playing tactics better suited away, then finally against Chester we changed it to more offensive with two tricky wide players and thump them 4-0.

Bar a goal poacher Curzon now has the attack talent to create but it’s whether we keep gambling at swapping and changing because also ‘stability’ can be a good thing.

The problem for Southport and also here Chester is they have to learn how to win away, great home forms but played 2-3 more home games than the rest and could drop away when have those extra away games played

Under Calum our away form has generally been better than our home form, our achilles heel has been breaking down teams who come and park the bus at the Deva. Last week was very out of character.

Yesterday was completely different, there’s a view that we’re too soft, lightweight and tippy tappy in midfield with Glendon and Weeks in there, but they were both left out completely yesterday. Glendon usually cops the most criticism but personally I’m the other way around and slightly prefer him over Weeks. I don’t get the Weeks love in from some, for me he’s an aesthetically pleasing player on the eye but I don’t think he’s effective in the long run, I’m sure Kiddy fans said similar about him.

Yesterday we had three no frills workhorses in midfield. Bainbridge had more support, who has been the best performer this season. There was perhaps a slightly snobbish view of his signing initially. He’s essentially full time here as his second job away from playing is coaching our kids for the Community Trust. He’s twice come out to the media this week and given some impressive calming interviews, seems to buy in to it.

There's been a rumour floating round we want Weeks back

Horrible memories of Spennymoor last year where we had one of the worst reffing decisions I’ve ever seen against us, the ref disallowing a goal when nobody did a single thing

Think we deserve a win after that robbery

A lot of pressure on yourselves and us at Curzon this midweek.

Chorley, Kings Lynn and Hereford should really be winning their games, while in better form leamington are still playing a bottom 4 side so also will fancy their chances.

Spennymoor a tough game for you, Kidderminster a tough one for us, if we can win and keep up there Chorley start a run of some bloody hard league games

There’s pressure on us every game really, we average over 1.2k more fans than the 2nd highest team and you would imagine a budget difference to match.

Our players should be able to handle the pressure and I don’t think we’re struggling due to that. Our tactics are just so poor at times and we seem to miss so many chances.

I think the title is between Curzon and Chorley unless someone like Kiddy puts together a run

We're much better away from home. Any idea if Poscha is banned? I know it's a week at this level but he was sent off in the cup.

Not a chance we will even make the play-offs

Our players have quit on the team, you can tell by their body language they're finished

Only half time but couldn’t be a better set of results for Curzon if they frankly wrote them myself as it stands.

Amazing also it seemed like about 25-30 minutes until someone scored.

You can always tell when the players have given up on their manager and it's blatantly obvious tonight

2-1 down and the players don't seem to care one bit

Robbed for the 2nd year in a row by disgraceful reffing at Spennymoor

The ref tackles our player and sends Spennymoor on the counter attack which they score from

You just cannot believe it

Well that tonight could not have gone any better really.

Scunthorpe beaten (had hoped draw there), Chorley thumped (where did that come from) kings Lynn and Hereford beaten at home, alfreton let in 3 goals in last 5 minutes to lose, leamington beaten.

Great night for the bottom sides who will all kick themselves as everyone else won.

Big chance for Curzon to go level on points with two games in hand or on other side massive chance for Kidderminster to claw themselves back into the play off picture after recent dips.

Everyone not named Curzon should be ashamed of themselves, we are somehow still top despite winning 2 of our last 9 games

We were terrible tonight yet should have had a point if not for what appeared to be blatant cheating by the referee

People often say they were playing against 12 men due to a bad ref but we actually were as he got an assist for their winner

Watching this back again and it actually seems to be calculated by the ref, he looks at our player and tries to get in his way

He has the fucking gall to book our players for dissent too for complaining, should never ref again

Chorley went from best performance of the season on Saturday to the worst tonight. Never in the game, couldn't handle the bounce or pace of the ball on this surface, every credit to Marine they thoroughly deserved their big win tonight.

I still think someone mid table could surge yet this is a very very open league, did not expect that set of results last night but shows what table is like.

Is nobody drastically consistant, is 7 points separated 2/3 of the league

Our turn tonight, tough match be interesting to see how it goes.

To be fair I get more worried in a few weeks time when we have Marine, Radcliffe, Warrington, South Shields……it’s them games we rarely turn up for

We're going to put a run together.
Not yet you're not. Great team performance from us last night. Whole team on it all night. Might have been different if Jameson hadn't pulled off a brilliant save to keep it 0-0. He is different class at this level. Young Maskell gave your 2 centre halves a real game - his best performance for us. Barrow did well as ever seeing as how most things seemed to go down his side. 2 wins, 2 clean sheets, Main getting back up to speed. Things on the up.
