I would be amazed if any lessons have been learned given what has gone before but I hope for your sakes you have a better experience than some of the Southend fans

Basically its street parking around the ground which was already pretty packed by 1.30 last weekend. Town is a bit further walk but if you park by the swimming pool (St James car park PE30 1NN) you can cut through the Walks (park) but would also open up a few more options for lunch if you want to eat before getting to the ground. If you haven't been to Norfolk on a bank holiday, allow a bit (lots) more time for the A17 than you would ever think necessary.
Can echo this, the A17 through Kings Lynn and that is just a car park if you catch it wrong. I'd recommend up and off early and stop to have your breakfast at Gedney farm shop, you can chill out then

Saltergate was quality, surprised that so many in here are toilet obsessed wet lettuce and prawn sandwich types. Give me a bit of architectural character and individuality within walking distance of a train station over a plastic replica on the side of a dual carriageway any day of the week.

Must be the toilets that offended you in our away end? Can't be the poor view from the back few rows because you lot never get close to selling it out. In its defence, the acoustics are great in that stand so away fans make a right racket when it's full.

Pretty sure we sold out or close to at the end of 17/18, we played shit and yes I was in the back few rows and couldn’t see some of the pitch unless I craned my neck like a well, fucking crane. A joke in the 21st century. Not bothered about the toilets, all I need is a wall and not to have to wait.

I acknowledge Grimsby’s away support is fantastic and a absolute credit to the club.

There is a reason TV cameras are positioned high up and near the halfway line, its the only decent place to sit in any ground. Every time I have been in a stand that is behind the goal I need binoculars to see the other end of the pitch!

Cheers my plan is definitely to set off early and get there before lunch and have a few hours to get something to eat, watch any footy that’s on the tele early doors etc so I’m not just driving there and back in one day. Will look at that car park and aim for that one cheers!

Oh yeah actually, I seem to remember you did fill it then to be fair. I don't actually really remember many of our games at BP against you now that I think about it. I remember us beating you 4-0 in 05/06 but that was a Tuesday. So apologies if that seemed like a low blow from me.

Yeah me and my lad sit in the Ponny and when we’re attacking the Osmond a lot of the time we can only tell if we’ve scored when we hear the lower Smiths celebrating.
And then it can be nerve wracking second half if we only have a one goal lead as every time the away team is attacking that end it looks like they’re really close in on goal when they might well be nowhere near it and it’s only when watching the highlights back that you realise that some chances were not as clear cut as they seemed at the time,.
