It was announced earlier today that Neil Lennon has become the new manager of Bolton Wanderers.

Lennon will replace Dougie Freedman at The Macron Stadium. Lennon previously managed Celtic over a winning The SPL three times, the Scottish Cup twice and also reached the round of 16 in the Uefa Champions League.

Neil Lennon will be joined by Johan Mjallby and Garry Parker who will be part of Lennon's staff and where formerly with him at Celtic. He will take charge for the first time against Birmingham City on the 18th of October and his first home game will be against Brentford on the 25th of October.

So, is this a good appointment for Bolton? Can Lennon return Bolton to the Premiership? Please vote or leave feedback.

I'm not sure if Bolton's finances can allow for another 3 years outside of the Premiership whilst still maintaining a hefty high end Championship budget, given the level of debt they're in, FFP and all that nonsense. It'll be interesting to see how they get on.
