As many of you will know Home Park is three quarters finished, and has been for a number of years. Today the club announced £5 million has been raised to sort out the grandstand. Not sure yet what the plans are exactly, nor how far £5 million goes, but this all sounds like good news. Idea is to have it finished before 2020 as that is the year we are hoping to host some internationals to celebrate the 400 year anniversary of the Mayflower sailing.

Do people sit in the grandstand at the moment, think you opened it for the playoffs/big games last season? If they just made it like the rest of the ground but with maybe a few executive boxes would that be enough?

Yes the upper bit is seating and still used, not been up there for years and personally don't like the atmosphere. The bit that is not used is the terracing immediately behind the dug outs.
