I only posted a few weeks back in the Martinez thread that Benitez, if Newcastle go down, should be number one on Everton's radar. In terms of realistic targets, I really can't think of anyone better and he'd certainly be an improvement on a returning Moyes. Would Everton fans accept him though? Or would it be more of what we saw from the idiotic Chelsea fans, despite him steadying the ship and winning them the Europa.

I think it's the Geordie / Kopite likeness that makes me hate them...........you get the odd one or two fans that are ok GB and Salty for example but the rest are deluded whoppers like GDragon etc

Well Sunderland have won the league more than them..........they are a 1 club city so attendances should be higher..........and they are a yoyo club.

Whilst of no comfort to Newcastle I'm sure, I'd love another away day at St James' Park or whatever its called nowadays.

Should be a private coach to arrive at Barnard Castle for about 10am again I'm sure. Even though we got battered 3-0 last time out it was still a great day and it was suitably finished off with me vomiting up about 3am that night whilst watching that Amy Williams win gold at the winter olympics in the skeleton bobsleigh. Fucking hell just looked it up and that was 2010. How time flies.
