It's about time this myth was put to bed. They will be relegated on Wednesday ' AGAIN ' and yet their deluded somewhat Kopite like fans think they are a big club.

Accept it your small time shite and deserve to be in the championship with the other small clubs.

Nice one Rafa !

Why does it bother you enough to start a thread on the subject?

Wumming aside, it's amusing that you're celebrating a club being relegated on Wednesday, given that the only way for that to be certain is for your own club to lose.

Never even considered that

I wonder if Toddles wants Newcastle down so his club can try to poach for Rafa.

I only posted a few weeks back in the Martinez thread that Benitez, if Newcastle go down, should be number one on Everton's radar. In terms of realistic targets, I really can't think of anyone better and he'd certainly be an improvement on a returning Moyes. Would Everton fans accept him though? Or would it be more of what we saw from the idiotic Chelsea fans, despite him steadying the ship and winning them the Europa.

I think it's the Geordie / Kopite likeness that makes me hate them...........you get the odd one or two fans that are ok GB and Salty for example but the rest are deluded whoppers like GDragon etc

Fat old men in football tops and over the top delusional hype over winning a corner etc

So all of the standard things that create arguments over whether a football club can be classed as 'big' or not then?

Well Sunderland have won the league more than them..........they are a 1 club city so attendances should be higher..........and they are a yoyo club.

Christ, you seriously didn't realise that, when I said 'Billy', I meant Kenwright?

I thought you were joking, I clearly gave you too much credit.

Christ, it's little wonder us scousers get accused of taking offence too easily. Common sense should tell anyone it was an innocuous comment not to be taken seriously and any connection to Hillsborough is ridiculous.

Whilst of no comfort to Newcastle I'm sure, I'd love another away day at St James' Park or whatever its called nowadays.

Should be a private coach to arrive at Barnard Castle for about 10am again I'm sure. Even though we got battered 3-0 last time out it was still a great day and it was suitably finished off with me vomiting up about 3am that night whilst watching that Amy Williams win gold at the winter olympics in the skeleton bobsleigh. Fucking hell just looked it up and that was 2010. How time flies.
