Very odd one for me. Been a Newcastle fan since I can remember, but started going to Brentford games as I lived nearby, and have now had a season ticket for 17 years, and am obviously a much bigger Bees fan now. Didn't ever really consider I'd have to watch them play each other though...

Anyway, will be in the away end of SJP, first time I will have gone there as an away fan. We're taking c.3,000 fans up there which is a great effort for the club. Staying for the weekend back in my old uni town of Durham, awesome city.

As for the game, we (Brentford) typically do quite well against the bigger teams in the division, where we have a bit more space to get the ball forward. I think we stand a good chance of grabbing a point or more, but about as much chance of coming away with nothing. Bjelland could be in for a tough game at LB against Atsu or Ritchie, Bjelland is clearly a very talented player, but he's not quite quick or mobile enough for LB, shame we've got so many injuries!

Hogan should have a good day and find some space, I'm hoping Woods comes back into the team as I think Smith got it wrong keeping him on the bench for our last game. Would like to see Kaikai play as well for a bit more pace on the counter.

Team:

Bentley
Colin - Dean - Egan - Bjelland
Yennaris - Woods
Macleod - Sawyers - Kaikai
Hogan

For me or any Newcastle fan, there is little point in predicting the starting line up as Rafa has rotated every single game now so I honestly have no idea what to expect. After finishing the season unbeaten at home in 09/10 we've already been beaten twice which really needs to be arrested quickly if we're to keep up with Norwich and Huddersfield through til Christmas.

I'll luckily be in sunny (probably mild) Rome as of tomorrow so will be keeping track from a far but in a complete reversal of what I've just said, I'm expecting;

-------------------- Darlow
- Yedlin - ---Lascelles ---- Mbemba - Dummet

------------- - Shelvey ------Hayden

- Ritchie ------------- Diame ---------- Gouffran

---------------------- Gayle
