All (well a few) eyes on the NW tonight for a game that could have huge ramifications in the race for the playoffs... an Eastleigh win would heap huge pressure on Wrexham, Bromley, Chesterfield and Halifax ahead of Saturday... very grateful we at Notts can not worry too much about this one (sorry chaps), although a draw or defeat for the Spitfires would greatly increase our chances of getting 5th spot and a home time in the QF, and also thereby avoiding a trip to Pools or Stockport in the semis, so I will join our brothers (plus Bromley and Halifax) in cheering on the home side...

Begging for a favour from Alty here. If Eastleigh win either of their last 2 games I think it’s over for us though in all honesty. Would require Wrexham to lose due to our inferior goal difference and Bromley failing to win. That’s all even on the basis we beat Chesterfield which is a tough ask.

This season is still going on?

In that case I echo the sentiments about being all Alty.

Taking a completely different approach here... come on Eastleigh. I would rather play them than Wrexham, Chesterfield or Bromley.

1984 all over again. Distinct failure to support the Brotherhood here. This won't be forgotten.

They deserve a good old fashioned Eastleigh shithousing in-the-traditional-mould for those ludicrous comments.

Imagine, Harrogate last year and Eastleigh this. Oh dear Brother Notts. What a stain that would be. Would they ever recover from that?

Come on Alty.

A win for Alty tonight by any margin moves us upto 9th on goals scored. Just improves our chances ever so slightly ahead of saturday.

Can I also the TV pick for the last day is a joke.

Tranmere were on that same course too playing Boreham Wood in the final after previously letting the Vegans in but thankfully they redeemed themselves that year.

They've already beaten us twice this season. Hartlepool the only other team to 6pt us.

I'd blanked the home game from memory, thought we'd drawn that one. Probably our worst performance of the season.

Depends if you count losing to Dover as being struck from the record or not!

As the stream for the Dover game was a farce from late start to very early finish, it's the only bit of our season, friendlies and cup games included I've not watched.

The Solihull result is more concerning to me than the Eastleigh one right now!! A team we're relying on to stuff Eastleigh Saturday losing to Kings bloody Lynn?

Ends 1-1, Eastleigh have blown their chance to put a playoff place in their hands on the final day.

Its going to be a right nail biter in Saturday. Currently the play offs look good as they are.
