I might be wrong, but I think Grimsby had around 1,200.

1,500 was always a bit optimistic - unless everyone stands perfectly evenly, it means some fans standing in front of the barrier.
It was estimated to be around 1100 or 1200 but officially 899. Absolutely no way was it less than 1000 though. Have you lot still been filling all the home ends? Think I said it in here on the day of the match but Kingfield looked and sounded great completely full and in the sun.

I think it was the day we beat you to stay up after the -10 that we had 1,500.

Yeah and obviously with the terrace going all the way down the pitch fans are going to go more towards the end we're attacking in each half, so you'll never get an even spread

I totally agree it's not the best of views to watch a football game for a couple of hours, just as bad or even probably worse is Spendymoor's away end. I'm not sure whether you've visited that ground with Boston. And they've got a rich sugar daddy who I don't think to my knowledge has spent a dime on that away end over the years that I've visited, pains me to hand over my cash to stand in that crap away end. Like Andy's pointed out we are their to follow our club.

Feethams is dead and buried it's now unfortunately a fuckin housing estate, indeed we could do with a new ground like Feethams but that ain't gonna happen in my lifetime. As for the Arena that's got rusty over the years with neglect, see that disappearing as well further down the line.

So freezing ya bollocks off down at Blackwell Meadows is the best of what we can do at the moment
I've only ever done Spennymoor on a Tuesday night. Both times I've ended up at the seated end due to building work going on although neither games had segregation.
They have spent a lot upgrading it so I'd be keen to see how it is on the 22nd if it goes ahead!
I've been to much worse grounds and it won't put me off. As you say you go to watch your team, but there will always be some who go once and think "not again" if they don't like it

:fl: If I'd posted it you'd have said it was rubbish. Love it! :fl:
Pretty sure I've said elsewhere that anything over 500 is decent for a club such as yourselves, so I wouldn't have said it was rubbish if you'd have posted it. I would have probably ignored it or asked whether or not the figure included you and your ticket you bought days before starting a thread asking if they were still available.

Not sure what NC are doing? I assume they must be desperate for cash..They have just released tickets for Wrexham fans in JS stand. 3 days before a match that is likely to be postponed!

Was always likely to happen, thought it’d be more but maybe we’re expecting a bigger home turnout than I am.

We’ll play if we don’t get any more cases from what I’ve heard. Has been our line on Covid the whole way through and we want to be consistent apparently (we’ve already played through one mini-outbreak this season I think). Shot ourselves in the face playing a game with half a team isolating last season and we’re in danger of doing it again…

Covid has made it difficult for Wrexham fans who have booked hotels etc.But that is life at the moment I suppose.
Not sure how many extra tickets we have been given but they seem to be getting snapped up quickly.

500 I think. I still think it’s more likely than not to be off, but if we’re determined to play on if possible then I guess we have to plan as if there’s going to be a game.

And all 500 gone already!

Think we are a bit mad to be playing this. Unless the cases are fringe players. No Wootton, Cameron, Roberts, Vincent or Palmer would be bad news, though

Since you're shit hot when it comes to digging up my old postings, yet you've offered no proof of this, I'm pretty sure you've NEVER said that. :ds:

Hasn’t been quite as busy or anywhere near as loud as that since. Mainly due to the fact we’ve lost every week since. We had 2,200 ish home fans v Dover which wasn’t too bad.

We should get a decent number of home fans v Aldershot though.

They've done plenty of work in the ground but I don't think they've improved the match day experience for visiting supporters coming in at the Tees Crescent side of the ground. I saw a fan zone bar and that was it.

The old open end behind the goal is where we use to stand when we visited Spenny, that's now their home end with a new stand with 'Save you More' shite written across the top of it. And the other end has new seating.

And also they now have a state of the art playing surface. They also like to promote the word 'AFFORDABLE'
Oh, I nearly forgot to mention they've now managed to fix the fencing, also binned the red tape that separates the fans.

And I failed to mention when you visit Spennymoor it also has a family atmosphere and if you need anything just ask a steward, or even one of their famously friendly supporters

Maybe the Grim Reaper was at that game as our form since has been pretty similar to that.

We've sold out so I imagine the crowd will be at least 4,000 assuming you'll get a few more home fans as you usually do against us

An absolute shocking following from Spennymoor. Truly dreadful.

14 mile journey.
Heh, their managers are doing a 300 mile round trip numerous times a week and yet their own fans can't be arsed to travel 14 miles as a one off?

Disheartening, to say the least.

520 Bees watching a battle of attrition at Borehamwood. Disappointing but I can understand why some people passed up the occasion.

1150 Shots in a crowd of 5171 at Kingfield. Given Covid isolations (me included) that is a fantastic turnout from both sets of fans

Our highest ever league crowd. Shame about the result.

Good to see Aldershot fans not celebrating the last minute goal, as per the rules invented on Boxing Day.
