673 Grimsby at Solihull.
I'm surprised at that looking at the total attendance, was one of them when it felt like there were at least equal home/away fans. Didn't look like there were 1000+ Solihull fans.

Yeah crap mate. I posted in the matchday thread and also put this on The Fishy, not sure if you read much or anything on there or not:

Not sure about the pass for their first being the single best of the night as a few minutes before their second Taylor played a lovely ball through to Efete who just couldn't dink it over the keeper. This was when we were enjoying our best spell of the match and I genuinely think if that goes in, we go on and win that as it felt like we had them on the ropes. Don't get me wrong though, we in no way deserved anything from that. Sousa's worst performance in a Town shirt and probably the first time Clifton has noticeably struggled, pair those two having off nights with a young lad up top making his debut having signed for us yesterday and it all just left Taylor with way too much to do. I thought Fox and Hunt were busy and worked hard but both fairly wasteful. The defence looked jittery at times, I'm not sold on this Waterfall/Pearson combo. I agree that Efete was decent but his reluctance to use his left foot when cutting in was very apparent tonight.

A mate messaged me at half time to say that there are perhaps too many youngsters in and around the starting XI and I have to agree, we've seen it time and time again now that we can't deal with physically stronger teams pressing us and it seems like everyone we play has got the memo.

To look at that negatively, we were shite tonight and we haven't fixed any of the problems we've seen over the past few months. However to put a positive spin on it, we definitely weren't outplayed and we're still somehow...I have no idea how...in third place and only four pts off the top.

Those 166 Alty were good value. Could certainly hear them and I bet that late late goal made it a good trip for them

Was same on Sat. We had way more than the 919 quoted but that figure conveniently meant they had over 1000 home fans 'officially'

Our police account said we had 1100

I'm assuming you had that little block of seats to the left and behind the goal like we did?

Similar numbers to us at Woking although that wasn’t to do with them lying it was because the scanners stopped working, my lad went with 2 of his mates and because of the scanner issues they just looked at their tickets and let them in and the official figure was around 900 but we pre sold 1100.

242 Gulls watching utter shit again. They dont deserve the numbers we are taking

Yep, over 160ish less than travelled to Harrow on Saturday to watch even more utter shite.

I hate going to Aldershot... I hate hills... park down a hill... walk up a hill.... down some steps... up some steps... down a hill.... then the Guildford roundabout was closed so headed for the M3.... zooming along... should be home soon.... grind to a halt...sit there for at least half an hour listening to Morrisey (yes, EVERY GULL'S MISERABLE NOW)... crawl... stop... crawl... stop... lane closure.... another lane closure... crawl passed about 7 million plod cars and one 'suspect' one... zooming along.... ffs... A21 closed.... up to Orpington... turn back.... zoom.... country roads (take me home).... just miss a herd(?) of deer who decided it would be fucking funny to jump into the middle of the road.... screech... stop.... crawl passed the fucking deer... zoom... home.... key in door, light switch on.... of course it fucking wouldn't...power cut.... ayatollah moaning at me for leaving the door open for 3 milliseconds longer than I should and letting all the cold air in (next time I'll climb in through the fucking window!).... power comes on about 2 in the fucking morning, which puts every single fucking light on in the house..... ball and chain thinks we have intruders... so in good old chivilary mode I go around and switch off all the lights and check that the TV is still hanging on the wall (it was) and that no-one had stolen the cat... back to bed.... yes, of course, she's asleep. Isn't she a lucky lady to have such a wonderful husband!

fast forward to this morning.... 'morning, did you win?'..... FUCK OFF!

321 Notts fans there tonight, so 570 home fans.. I mean, what? I’m guessing there are teams at non-league steps 3 and 4 that get more home fans?

It’s even worse than I thought. Having checked BW’s official Twitter I see the attendance was actually 821, with 321 away fans, meaning the home fans numbered just 500…

So you went to Boreham Wood and didn’t outnumber the home fans?

Tinpot thread please.

Did anyone else read this with a Mike Skinner voice in their head?
But apart from that did you have a good night?
I had a great afternoon/evening in Birmingham. Went on the big wheel, walked around all the Christmas markets, had an all you can eat Chinese buffet...then messed it all up by getting on a train to Solihull to go watch Grimsby Fucking Town.

Chesterfield tickets available in the home ends on our site and the whole Osmond End is blocked out and unavailable so you're getting the full allocation, Spireites. Get it sold out please, you might be the only ones to do that this season.

Superb following.

Boston wouldn’t bring that on a Saturday to us.
Nah you're probably right. Anywhere from 50-80 on a Saturday and 30/40 in midweek to there and Spennymoor
Thought you'd bring anywhere from 80-120 so it wasn't a surprise to me
Not too far off what you took to York St the last time you visited on a Saturday (128)

Sounds similar to our journey back from Weymouth. Every time we go to the South West on a Tuesday half the roads are closed on the way back…

Top stuff chief, surprised we're top after your monster Halifax following but I guess we've been consistently hitting 600+ on those long journeys.

Indeed, Aldershot and King's Lynn followings killed us off. Dover is our next away, where we'll do we'll to get 400 and then our following 2 are Altrincham and Notts County, both of which we could take over 2000 to.
