No edge to this Ooh Aah, but I don't think the support for the team has dwindled much at all this season. The support of the fans is referenced time and again in interviews post match, whatever the results have been.

It's the Chairman there has been any negativity towards. Still, he'll have a nice cosy cell soon, possibly, if the trial doesn't go his way.

I’m not sure who first came up with that 1450 figure then and also why they would just make it up.
I believed it at the time as I saw quite a few saying it and when the fixture was rearranged it said more tickets were available if needed so I presumed we had been given more.

♂️ :ffs: Let me take you through this chuck- the 1450 claim was made because it represented more than half the crowd. As you will have noted, during your meticulous research at the time, the 1450 claim was immediately followed by the claim the you'd outnumbered us in our own ground. This isn't rocket science sunshine, it's a fairly routine game played by fans with nothing else to hang on to. You were allocated ONE stand, a stand with a safety certificate for 1200 fans. You FAILED to fill it, there are readily visible gaps in the occupied seating. You brought less than Wrexham, who brought, and claimed, 1200 and filled the stand to capacity, indeed your club was still trying to sell tickets in the day of the match. On the visible evidence of the stand on the night, you brought between 1000 and 1100- less than Wrexham and a LONG way short of half the crowd. Face the fact that you club just isn't as "big" as you pretend it is. :bdick:

Aha so thats the reason, so 1450 is more than half of 2933 is it?
Cheers for clearing that up you absolute thick as fuck prick.

Not sure how many we will have down Barnet today. Game only arranged last week and after 6000 went to London last week I can’t see many fancying it again a week later. Especially given most of us haven’t recovered yet.

Im driving down with a couple of mates but definitely not been a popular one when I’ve offered mates a lift :surr:

Couple of points on this. Wrexham hadn't just plummeted from 1st to 10th, hadn't just lost 6 away matches on the bounce and hadn't been pissed about with restricted allocations and a re-arrangement in the lead up to the match. Bang on about journey times all you want mate, but we've comfortably got the best followings in this division when you factor distances in.

So basically all these glory hunters that went Chelsea away don’t fancy Barnet away, imagine my shock.
Alright Nostradamus

If you need an excuse, my trip to the smoke led to me getting the Rona so I was out of play for today (and next Tuesday) and I bet i'm not the only one!

I blame you filthy Londoners...

I’d estimate that there were around 650 happy Spirites at the Hive today. An official figure will come out in due course.

I predict B2TF’s reply to this will include a load of spiel and bull shit ending with the word ‘Chuck’ followed by a load of hysterically laughing emojis.

I know you hate it but it’s a really good set up at the Hive. Sad to see it so empty though but I understand the reasons

I don’t hate it but I understand why some Bees fans do. It’s a shame because a full Hive has a better atmosphere than a full Underhill did.

I think fans are fed up with being messed about. We had 2 identical terraced ends. The Away End terrace was sold to Exeter and the New Stand built(probably the best away end in League for views/bar) The Home end was then closed and only seating available. After complaints, home end was re-opened with promise of terracing going in on other side(where family stand was) when new Home End is built. Home End then closed again and has been for 2 seasons now. All plumbing/electrics have been removed so no chance of it re-opening. Waiting for new end to be built, but no time given. That terrace is going onto one of the outside pitches(probably where the Ladies play) once council gives approval. A lot of fans that used to stand, were reluctant to pay the increase for an enforced seat, and together with our crap form, just decided to stay away. Once the Hive is completed, it will be a great Stadium, just a shame it is built in the wrong place and fans will never fill it.
