Got best mates who are Pool fans. They've got 2336 which is the max allocation there apparently (because they now have a big advert over the seats where the rest of the away fans used to go).

About 1800, as I said yesterday though I'm pretty certain you'll get the rest of that if you sell out and that's just an initial allocation.
I rest my case - why should Blackpool get 2,336 tickets from West Yorkshire police (who seem to be controlling distribution for Boxing Day events) and Cleethorpes only gets 1,200. They may have ballroom but we have the 3 Cliftons - Kevin, Joanne and Harry...

103 Yeovil at Wrexham last night, which on an extremely cold Tuesday night in December is not terrible.

I'll add that they were excellent all game, brought just over 100 but it sounded like way more once they got going. I thought the support was excellent from both sides for the majority.

Sold 337 of the physical 377 tickets that were sent to BP for Dagenham, however that doesn't include any that have been bought on the Daggers website where any exiles would have been buying e-tickets. Hopefully a fair few have done that.
Edit: Remembered you can see availability on their site. 163 tickets on their site sold, so hopefully there'll be 500+ there.

That will bump our attendance up to 1500, know loads not bothering. As it stands we can’t even name a full bench due to injuries and suspension, we will restart your season for you.

Our weighted average is going to take a battering over these next few weeks, it wouldn't surprise me if we take less to Bromley on Saturday than we did to Wrexham a couple of weeks ago.

First allocation sold out within an hour of general sale this morning so 500 more on the way.
Gutted I’m missing this one through work as I love to see a full away end at Blundell Park.

I’m coming on the train as it’s relatively straight forward (albeit time consuming) but saw the horror stories from Notts County fans. Hopefully lessons are learnt and we are allowed a beer. Anywhere you’d reccomend in Cleethorpes/Grimsby? I’ve not been for years for footy but likely to arrive at midday

Assuming you're changing at Sheff or Donny? I'd get off at Grimsby Town instead of Cleethorpes and head to Docks Beers, if you're into your more sort of craft beers. It's about a 15min walk from Grimsby Town station. They also do beers in the fan zone at the ground, but I'm not sure if away fans are allowed in.

I'd also maybe not get the first train out of there and let the crowds settle down a bit if you've got an open return as I think jacobncfc was saying he and loads of Notts fans got funnelled onto the wrong train by the police who weren't even contemplating the idea of listening to them.

Yeah, I’ve been working through the BTP complaints process and they seem to have accepted it wasn’t ideal, but who knows whether anything will change.

For us, anyone arriving by train that was identifiable as a Notts fan was stopped from exiting at Grimsby Town and shuffled along to Cleethorpes and into a couple of dives near the station there then marched along the seafront to the ground. We got in fairly late as the train from Nottingham takes forever so only had time for a couple of beers anyway, but if you’re a bit earlier or would rather do something more interesting, I would say to get out at Grimsby you’d need to be very low key and not in a big group. Coming back was ridiculous, but would be less of an issue for Ches fans as they’ll actually want to be on that first train out of Cleethorpes towards Sheffield. If you do want to hang around for a while, don’t get the train from Cleethorpes and expect to get off at Grimsby Town.

I can’t see any of this being more relaxed for you really, from talking to BTP, them and Humberside Police seem convinced that they averted a remake of Green Street, and I would say that Ches probably have more of a dodgy element than we do.

Fair play for complaining about all of that, would be interested to hear if anything comes of that. I've just this morning sent a few e-mails to West Yorkshire Police and Calderdale's Safety Advisory Group regarding our allocation for Halifax, don't expect anything at all but you never know.

Regarding your last paragraph, this is a huge problem for me. WYP have restricted us to 1200 tickets so if nothing kicks off then they've averted a crisis. If it does kick off then they'll smugly refer to it as the correct decision to restrict. The only possible way they lose this is if there is trouble in the home ends due to away fans being in there, which obviously nobody wants.

To be fair the guy assigned to the case was really helpful and properly looked into it - was interesting cos he went through all of the logbooks from the person in charge on the day with me to explain the decisions they made and had looked at all the bodyworn cameras. Ultimately though everyone involved in their side seems to have taken the view that they accept that some individual officers should’ve been less aggressive and more helpful, but the overall operation was fine and proportionate.

Was weird, though. I live a few mins from the King Power and happened to wander past the Legia Warsaw escort a couple of weeks ago, and there genuinely seemed to be fewer police for them than there was for a few hundred Notts fans in Cleethorpes.

Some good news for you Son of Cod - we’ve just moved a game with Barnet in January to Friday night because of a clash with Forest I hadn’t noticed. Means it should be their turn to shift for the one against you.

It’s better than when they moved it to the Sunday a few seasons back. Last train back will be a bit of a push mind

Good news for Son of Cod but bad for me, I’m working the Saturday but I’m off on the Friday. :lac:

It’s easily doable, have to get the same one for every midweek game. Have to make sure you leave bang on full time, but I’ve not missed it yet.

We get loads of these clashes now, guessing the EFL/NL aren’t very good at talking about their fixture lists.

That's encouraging at least, I'm pleasantly surprised they went as in depth as they did. I guess being a little bit too aggressive isn't a cause for concern for them if they feel the operation went well. Basically, we're gonna show you that we can handle a formal complaint well but we don't care if some fans get put on the wrong train if there's no violence?

Ah nice, I was talking about this last night with my missus. Think we're gonna have a weekend in Nottingham for this. Doesn't surprise me about the police presence at the Leicester v Legia Warsaw match either, they'll have had loads of big crowds going there over recent years...4 figure followings at Blundell Park are few and far between these days. Even so though, it sounded ridiculously heavy handed.

I've been to seven away games this season and I am happy to say the local police have been excellent whenever I've come across them. I have seen not one iota of trouble either, plenty of smiling and banter, loads of beer and drunkenness, but I repeat no trouble.

Miffed with the Halifax decision, bloody Boxing Day, early kick-off and now restricting us to 1,200 tickets seems a little strange considering how well behaved our fans have been for a few seasons now. Also delaying ticket sales (because of an alleged printing issue) and even making home fans jump through hoops to get their tickets. It all stinks!

Yeah 10 mins to Sheff for us then a fairly long journey given the miles it is. I took my young lad to Cleethorpes for the day in the summer and drove and thought it wasn’t a bad drive!
Will have a look at our chances of coming off in Grimsby then, or trying to sly off at Cleethorpes and not be stuffed in one pub. I think our idiots will travel so will let them cause a distraction and they might let us fly under the radar a bit.

still suprised it’s a 3pm KO. Im calling it now I reckon their will be trouble

Around 250 Stones at Bromley. Nothing official announced yet.

Worst away section of the season so far. £20 for uncovered standing.
