I watch Staveley a little bit. It’s a ridiculously good set up for this level and for some very bizarre reason they took a voluntary relegation to Div 1. Rightly getting stick for it, though I don’t know the exact reasons but that set up wouldn’t be out of play at Step 3 or 4 let alone 6

Nice to see that North Ferriby are still going. Must be one of the smallest clubs ever to make Step 5. Nice friendly folk too.

They went under, but reformed under the previous owners.

Been to Ferriby a few times, and a load of us who support other local clubs were at Wembley for the trophy final.

The Pie, chips and gravy from the Hut is superb.

How did they get on in the final?

Only ever been once when we drew with them 1-1. Totally agree very friendly club.

If I remember I'm sure their was a train track along the side behind the ground? Decent grub as well.

Well the season starts for us a week tomorrow. Hopefully I can beat my 10 games that I went to last season. No idea how well we will do this season tbh.

Yeah still at Radcliffe for this season. The vote should be next month to amalgamate however it’s pretty much in the balance with which way it’ll go. Football in Bury could well be split and pretty much dead with bad blood on both sides.

Bury should do very well.. The NWCFL isnt very good.

Wythenshawe Town may do well again as theyve recruited. Charnock will only do well if Jordan Darr bags 30+ again. Ive no idea about IoM, but I suspect the home advantage will see them do well.

The rest of the league is generally just 'Meh'.

I had heard about the ground re-opening... and suspected something like that might happen (a split). supporters have the 'new club' & bums on seats- so to speak... but someone else sets up a side at Gigg Lane and that will draw some interest away, even if its just the habit of going to the old ground welling up in some dormant former supporters. Either way it leads to neither progressing (unless it's a Max Griggs/Salford thing of throwing money at it regardless of anyone turning up or not)

The supporters who have the ground but no team or well anything have so far had the whole set of tossers known as the Tory party round including just this week days after openly admitting fucking poorer areas over Rishi Sunak. So it’s looking like I won’t be stepping in Gigg Lane again.
