Just stumbled on a workaround for laptop / desktop until it gets fixed. Click that icon in between the X and Minimise at the top of your browser. Make your screen small enough - like a mobile screen - and you'll see your notifications.

Many thanks. Taking it to half screen width, full height works for me.

Yep Leo, it seems to be working for others. Dunno why as it's not like I'm doing something wrong or not following Stagat's instructions. Making your screen small enough isn't that complicated.

Still, I'll keep trying until I can get this to work for me too.

No worries mate. I just liked every reply here except yours.

Which browser are you using? Chrome and Firefox go to this developer view when you make the window smaller.

It helps devs see how their sites look on mobile as they're working on them, and is why this workaround is working.

If you're on a different browser, it might not do that.

This is because the notifications toolbar is present on mobile view, the code has only been removed for desktop, it's being worked on as I type, though.
