Derby day tomorrow! On Sunday one of the most famous football derbies will take place at the City Ground. Fans of both teams look forward to this day and it is very special to all of them. Derby will be making the very short trip down the Brian Clough way (A52) to the City Ground. Last seasons two meetings ended with both teams winning one match. However, Derby has the most emphatic win beating Forest 5-0 at the Ipro Stadium. Forest grabbed a 1-0 win thanks to a Jack Hobbs header earlier that season. All players and fans look forward to Derby days but I think this is something very special...

I think its fair to say Forest have had the better start to the season; unbeaten with 13 points and top of the table. But Derby aren't fair behind in 7th with 8 points. Derby will be coming off the back of a decent 1-1 draw at home to Ipswich whereas Forest won 1-0 in a impressive away performance at Hillsbourough.

Pearce will have some big decisions to make concerning team selection on Sunday. With the return of Henri Lansbury at Sheffield Wednesday and scoring the only goal of the game he has put in a big stake to be in the starting line up again. Forest could go with a 4-4-1-1 as they did against Sheffield Wednesday with Lansbury playing just behind Britt Asombolonga. Another option is to go 4-4-2 dropping Chris Cohen to left back, leaving Dan Harding out, and having Lansbury and Reid in the middle. Kelvin Wilson has played a couple of U21's matches and David Vaughn may be involved on Sunday. Also with the impressive Jack Hunt doing well in the right back position; Eric Lichaj, another right back, could potentially play left back.Micheal Antonio will also be looking to impress after having a fantastic start to the season. Chris Burke and Jack Hunt will be looking to cause mayhem down that right side as they've already done so many times this season. Mancienne and Hobbs will hope to cement their partnership together at center back. l My predicted starting line up for Forest tomorrow would be 4-4-1-1 formation with:
GK-Darlow
RB-Hunt
CB-Mancienne
CB-Hobbs
LB-Lichaj
RM-Burke
CM-Cohen
CM-Reid
LM-Antonio
CF-Lansbury
ST-Asombolonga

As for the vistors Derby County they do have a few injuries problems. Jamie Ward may not be fit after suffering a hamstring injury on international duty with Northern Ireland. Of course Jeff Hendrick is out for around four weeks after dislocating his shoulder against Ipswich. However Jake Buxton has given Steve Mclaren a boost after resuming full training after an injury and could be involved at the City Ground. Will Hughes will be expected to start in replace of the injured Hendrick. Cyrus Christie, a summer signing from Coventry, has looked very impressive at right back; looking cool and calm at only the age of 21. John Eustace will give plenty of experience in his holding midfield role.Forest need to keep their eye on Martin and Bryson as they have both been prolific goals scorers for Derby County. This is my predicted Derby County line up:
GK-Grant
RB-Christie
CB-Buxton
CB-Keogh
LB-Forsyth
CDM-Eustace
CDM-Hughes
CAM-Bryson
LAM- Russel
RAM-Dawkins
ST-Martin
Lets hope for a exciting derby match as they always are between these two famous teams!

My Forest pal will not be happy if the Trees don't win this, but it's going to be a hell of an atmosphere there for the the game. Almost wish I could see it myself and I'm a fan of neither :)
