We’re over half a team out injured, lose 2 players to injuries in the first half, play a CB as a striker and fully deserve the win after that 2nd half.

Oxford were shockingly bad in the 2nd half. No fight, no spirit, no clue. We’re a poor side at the moment, but Oxford . . .

Admittedly we are short of 7 players who would literally walk into the first team.

Admittedly also we have now lost to all 5 teams we've played this season in the top 6 (when we played them).

Lambert is 1 year into a 5 year contract during a health & financial epidemic.

Go figure.

Keep expecting Oxford to pick up but continue to disappoint.

They were pretty good in the first half yesterday and in reality should have been 2-0 up at HT as Taylor missed a sitter. That probably would have been Game Over.

However in the second half Robinson for some reason took off 3 of their better players and we went for the Hail Mary move of throwing a centre back (Tom Broadbent) up front and going long which seemed to totally knock them off their stride and Broadbent scored and had a massive hand in the glorious second goal.

I heard that Robinson hung his players out to dry rather than admitting he got his subs and tactics wrong in the second half.

Yesterday was brilliant and I've still got a headache from shouting so much.

Throwing a centre half up front for the last half an hour changed the game. Shez is a genius!

If we include the Winky wanky cup that’s 3 games away unbeaten. Make that 4 at Crewe Tuesday and I’ll start to think we’ll have a less stressful season.

Sounds like Oxford really collapsed in second half and lost their bottle for the fight.

I'm used to seeing us go to mush against them so yesterday made a nice change. They tried sitting back far far too early when in reality we're just about knitting together a first 11 at the moment and to be brutally honest were there for the taking as we're missing so many players. They really dropped a clanger, however our boys showed the type of determination required in a derby right until the final whistle and we reaped the rewards at the end.

Since I've been going to games regularly since 2003 that's the first time I've watched us play Oxford thinking we want it more than them.
