Not sure what to expect from this one?

Newport seem to have stabilised under Sheridan, so it may be tougher than expected by many of our fans. We should have too much for them, but I'd have rather been playing them a couple of months ago.

Narrow home win, says the cautious me. Hammering says the optimist in me.

Games have been coming thick and fast in the past few weeks. FA Cup replays, JPT Trophy still. It is a bit too much.

We have a small squad and I think a touch of lethargy (not complacency) is showing. If Argyle drop some points tonight then I will be happy just to keep a clean sheet.

Will be delighted with a point this evening. Clearly a tough away fixture. Having said that we are playing better away from Dave - certainly results have been good of late on the road with wins at Gas, Wycombe and draw at Stanley.
We are better suited to the counter attack and having home teams taking game to us. At home we are finding it difficult to take the initiative and break down defensively minded teams, such as Yeovil last weekend.
A boring 0-0 or 1-1 will do just fine diolch.

We will smash Newport 3-0, no need to sit on the fence with this one.

You smashed us 1-1 in the end

Oxford look a decent side, but Sheridan has us organised enough to cope with their plinky-plonky football. If we could only pick up our woeful home form we will climb the table. Dismal ref. Dismal stadium. Freezing cold. Glad to come away with a point in the end. Oxford just might go up this season. I don't think we'll go down. Eight games without defeat in league and cup games.

A bit of a disappointment to only draw, but you can't win them all!

The first half we did not play our usual pressing game and allowed Newport far too much time. Second half was much better and we practically laid siege to their goal, with just a bit of wasteful finishing, some decent blocks and good saves denying us the win.

Newport were far from the worst side to visit and won't get relegated.

You really don't like us, do you?
I have no feelings towards Oxford mate i just laugh at people who boast their team will slaughter another and it goes tits up no matter which team it is.

It's okay, I like to laugh at the timid mindset that sees some people label every game as some sort of gauntlet of death. Even worse is the sort of fan that toes a bland line of neutrality in an attempt to sound like a BBC pundit. Embarrassing to the game, really.
