Bit of a stronger line-up this time with Coutinho and Sturridge starting. If Liverpool struggle with this team, then they don't deserve to go through.

Liverpool team in full: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Gomez, Moreno, Stewart, Ejaria, Coutinho, Woodburn, Origi, Sturridge

Subs: Mignolet, Klavan, Randall, Williams, Alves, Ojo, Wilson

Absolute stonewall penalty but a shit take by Origi.

We've made hard work of this and it isn't over yet. Our attack has gone right down the shitter in the last month, need to get back to what we had prior to Christmas. Hopefully once we get Mane back and we have Mane, Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho in full flow from next month we'll be back on target.

After that penalty save their keeper will be confident if it goes to pens. Really need to play this out.

And I wish McManaman would shut the fuck up, he does my head in.

It's over. As said, hard work but done just enough.

Easy win. Surely Plymouth fans got something out of their money being able to watch the likes of Woodburn, Ejaria, TAA, Wilson and Ojo grace their pitch.

McManaman is fucking awful. Over the two ties, he made Robbie Savage during the England vs Wales game seem like a perfectly unbiased, decent commentator.

Shame about that result because I thought we gave a fucking brilliant account of ourselves considering the difference in the two clubs. Liverpool barely threatened, McCormick didn't have much more to do than pick the ball out of the net and save a DREADFUL penalty. And I'm talking about over both legs. We made some good chances too. Not a massive amount, but I don't think we were ever going to.

That Jervis chance which hit the post, though. FUCK.

All in all, a win was always unlikely. But so was managing to get just a 1-0 loss over two legs. I'll take that.

Now watch us get battered at Cheltenham on Sunday.

You had some very good chances and Karius had to deal with them, and the time he didn't you were unlucky the ball hit the post. Deserved a goal tonight anyway for the effort. Liverpool were abysmal, but got the job done somehow, perhaps unfairly over the two legs.
