I can't message anyone that I haven't contacted before. I'm aware of the swell of discontent amongst certain members of our community but is this any reason to withdraw the facility completely?

Permissions were supposed to be setup only to restrict new member accounts, it shouldn't be affecting any established accounts. Sorry about that, I'll tweak tomorrow.

Should be fixed now for all established users who have not had the privilege manually revoked. The issue was a missed setting for the Site Supporters group.
