You make a good point. I'm one of those more lapsed Vale fans now, attend very occasionally. Partly that's through working shifts but even when am available to attend I struggle to muster the enthusiasm any more. I don't really care about losing (seen us do that enough over the years god knows) but it's just not particularly enjoyable anymore the times I have been to VP. It costs way more than third division football ever should just to see us try and lump the ball as high and as often as we can. Part of the problem though as I've found once you get out of the habit it is very difficult to get the enthusiasm to get back into it unfortunately.
