Another 0-0 draw for us.

Look ok in defence and midfield - but you do have to score a goal to win games.

Burnley needed Joey Barton to sort those fans out!

Beat Bilbao 3 - 1 to finish the preseason unbeaten in 90 mins. Woodburn and Solanke impressing again.

Imagine the fuss that'd be made if an English club went to Germany for a pre season friendly and got the game abandoned.

I understand it was originally supposed to be a demonstration about Hannover being taken over this summer. Perhaps well intentioned, got out of hand.

The fellow with the mouthguard certainly prepared for more than a peaceful demonstration.

A very credible 2-2 with a strong Napoli side tonight. Albiol, Koulibaly, Hamsik, Mertens, Insigne, quality players. Napoli scored late to draw when it looked like we were going to sneak a win.

Benik Afobe and Simon Francis with our goals, Jordon Ibe and Maxi Gradel looking good in creative areas.

That's pre season done at last. Onto West Brom.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
City play their final pre season friendly four days after the start of the season as part of a training camp in Spain and take on Girona. I take it everyone will be tuning in to Eurosport at 4.50pm tomorrow to see the inevitable season-ending injury to either Kompany, Aguero, or both?

Eeeh. I remember the days of playing Bury, Oldham and Rochdale.
