Former PSV-player Davy Pröpper is not exactly famed for his power, winning mentality and speed. Therefore, I don't understand why Brighton signed him as the PL is well-known for its physical and fast-paced gameplay.
How has he performed so far?

Decent today. Very silky footballer. I expect he'll get overpowered at times but will definitely have his uses for us.

His brace for the Netherlands last weekend showed how capable he is of popping up in the box to score, Lampard-style.

You're right, Pröpper is a technical player with the ability to score goals. His lack of winning mentality is definitely his Achilles' heel. Pröpper is always one of the first ones that back off when the going gets tough.
