It saddens me to report that Sergei (real name Bernard) passed away this morning after battling cancer for 18 months.

I didn't know him personally, but always found him to be friendly on forums, a bit of a character and a real
statto. Sad that he won't get to see the end of this season, as it gets to the business end of it.

R I P Bernard.

Hopefully Oxford and Northampton will go on to win promotion this season and give a fitting tribute to the losses the forum has suffered. Terrible year for the L2 forum to lose two fine posters.

RIP.

Felt compelled to join this forum to say farewell to Sergei (DartfordOx on Yellows forum). Was always keen to share his love of statistics. RIP.

Always awful when someone passes on here, but it especially hits home when its someone you've conversed with a fair bit on here.

RIP.

Very sorry to hear of Sergei's passing. Enjoyed his posts and stats on here during Rover's short-lived L2 stint.

I'm gutted to hear this, was one of my favourite posters, very sad that we've lost two in such a short space.

We're going to have to give this board a double barreled name.
