Good. He's had his critics recently and I ran out of ways to defend him after the MK game. Think playing behind Garner and Beckford next season he'll shine.

Shame we didn't get him earlier in the season cause he was outstanding today compared to the other c*** out there in the blue and white shirts.

As for the game we were shocking. Probably our worst performance this season which takes some doing. Would have been a travesty if Preston failed to win. They could and should have scored a lot more. Couldn't have complained if it ended 5 or 6-1. Lost count of how many goals we have let in in injury time this season.

3 starts, 2 goals for Beckford, we've missed him so much as he's absolutely perfect for the way we play. His movement is so good and his pace off the shoulder means he will get chances no one else in our team would.

Just goes to show how much DJ has been wasted by playing too deep since Christmas, played behind the strikers yesterday and looked like he ran the show, goal and an assist too.

Hope yesterday's set up is how we intend to play regularly next season.
