A guid dram
Bloody Yanks cant let anything go could they. The guy has seemingly led an honest life after his escape all these years ago, he's not a dangerous fugitive, yet will now see out the rest of his days locked up with hardened criminals. That fucking country is worse than North Korea.

He killed someone then fucked off rather than serving his punishment. Deserves to go back inside.

He's gone back in for a parole violation actually, not for the original offence of killing someone. You statement would work if the original sentence was a 20yr suspended... not saying it's right but blame the fucked up justice system.

Feel sorry for him. And it's a catastrophic waste of police resources.

Bielsa's bucket
meanwhile all the cops that kill African Americans and little kids that hold water guns are still free

"hey black man why are you running?"
"catching a bus"
"stop or i will shoot"
"STOP"

dead, no weapons on him just change for a bus

That reminds me of a song Bob Dylan wrote about this story, that they found among his Basement Tapes. Unfortunately, some of the verses are missing...

Frankie Freshwater.

Verse One [missing]

Verse Two [missing]

Meanwhile far away in another part of town
Frankie Freshwater and a couple of friends are driving around
Number one town conman, midway home from The Crown
Had no idea what kinda shit was about to go down
When a pedestrian named Tyrone was mowed down on the side of the road
Just a suspended sentence, how'd he get away with that?
In Ohio State that's just the way Frankie thought things go
Thought "Hey, I'm white, might as well not even show up for my parole meet"
Gets back in his car; It's not like that's gonna draw the heat.

Verse Four [missing]

Verse Five [missing]

Four years later, Frankie's life's up in flames
Sitting in OS Reformatory fighting for his name,
But 48-Months good behaviour and off to some Honour Camp game
Where the screws feed you pork chops and the security's tame
Means an easy escape through some perimeter fence bars.
Then follows five years in West Virginia, and he's back in a car
Got a little mobile library lending books on baseball and law.
Almost got cautioned for threatening his wife one night
Yet avoided any trouble (don't forget that Frankie's white)

Verse Seven [missing]

Verse Eight [missing]

Verse Nine [missing]

Verse Ten [missing]

Now our all-white criminal in his coat and his tie
Is free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise,
While poor old Tyrone lies in a cheap oakwood cell
An innocent man six-feet closer to hell.
That's almost all the story of Frankie Freshwater
Who fled to Florida and changed his name,
But the case was re-opened by Major Todd Goodyear, and Frankie got done
Put back in a prison cell for the crime that should-a been
Properly punished when he was midway home from The Crown.
