The shots look decent enough, but the dialogue is hilariously bad. Those jokes as well......eesh.
I hope they find a way of getting the Venom of this universe into the new Spiderman MCU universe. Having Tom Hollands Spidey go up against this Venom would be pretty decent.

I don't think Disney would ever relinquish creative control over anything inside the MCU.

"Batwoman"
The upcoming Ruby Rose led "Batwoman" pilot for The CW, based on the DC Comics title, has begun casting some of its key supporting roles.
Rose plays Kate Kane who soars onto the streets of Gotham as "Batwoman", an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city's criminal resurgence. She must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope.
Joining her will be Meagan Tandy (Teen Wolf) who will play high-level private security agent Sophie Moore, Camrus Johnson (Luke Cage) as Luke Fox, son of Wayne Industries R&D director Lucius Fox and essentially protector and maintenance guy for all of Batman's leftover tech, and Nicole Kang (You) as Mary Hamilton, Kate's compassionate if talkative step-sister.
Should it go to series, "Batwoman" would mark the first gay lead character, male or female, of a live-action superhero series.

Natalie Dormer Joins New 'Penny Dreadful'
Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer will play a supernatural demon in John Logan's sequel/spin-off series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels at Showtime. Filming begins this year.
The new show will feature all new characters and storylines and shifts the action from late 1800s UK to 1938 Los Angeles, a time and place deeply infused with social and political tension.
Dormer is Magda, a supernatural demon who can take the appearance of anyone she chooses and who manifests in a number of guises throughout the story. Jessica Garza and Johnathan Nieves co-star.
After the way they treated the last one cutting it short, I'd say continue with the original show instead.

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a September 25th 2020 release date for David Chases's prequel movie to his HBO series classic "The Sopranos" which has been going by the name "The Many Saints of Newark" has also been re-titled to just "Newark"
The television series picked up 21 Emmys and five Golden Globes during its run. Chase penned the film which is being directed by Alan Taylor. The action is set in 1960s Newark amidst riots between the city's African-American and Italian communities. Alessandro Nivola, Vera Farmiga, Jon Bernthal, Corey Stroll, Billy Magnussen and Michael Gandolfini co-star.
