Van Persie is the more complete footballer (creativity, shooting technique, link-up play, all-round ball skills etc) but I would choose Vardy over Van Persie if my team needed a lethal striker playing in a counter-attacking set-up, getting in behind, possessing searing pace and not neglecting pressing from the front. Both intelligent forwards in terms of positioning and getting in the right spaces.
