I'm definitely watching this. That fact it's about footie is a bonus. I'm a big fan of David Earl who is the co writer, creator and also plays one of the minor roles. He's been in a few things with Ricky Gervais essentially playing the same character and he's funny as fuck.

The first one is already available on Sky anytime. It's got it's moments but it's not for me. I might give it another go with the 2nd episode but unless it picks up considerably then I'll give the rest of it a miss.

Hearing Adrian Durham doing a shite semi parody of himself as Owen "The Goal Mouth" Niblock in the first few seconds was enough to start it off on the wrong foot with me...

Having seen the trailers for it, I was a bit disappointed with the first episode. Was watchable but didn't have me laughing too much. Will give it another go next week and hope it gets funnier

Watched the first episode, wasn't that funny and haven't bothered to watch the rest.

And the 'Rovers' part has nothing to do with us obviously, not with the Lancashire accents and the mention of the areas surrounding Blackburn.... and Sky Sports' hatred of us spreading into other Sky departments....

I didn't enjoy this at all. I'm all for taking the mick out of certain aspects of non-league football but this has turned it into a laughing stock when it didn't need to.
