Top two from last season go head to head again.
We lost here 1 0 last year under one of hasslebanks first games.
Be delighted with a point but think we will lose.

Our home results, and the performance against Chesterfield, have been awful.

Looking to get off the mark points wise in this game but not overly confident as Burton have started well and will be full of confidence. A draw would be a start and is perhaps the favourite result here.

Hoping for 3 points but I'd probably take a draw as Burton have started strongly. We've picked up a couple of good away points at Bradford and Oldham and played well in the league cup away at Blackburn and Palace. A third home defeat on the trot doesn't bear thinking about.....

Can't see us winning until Weslowski and Percival return, but we badly need 3 points to get us started!
Maybe the officials would like to gift us a penalty as they seem to have done with our opposition having won 5 penalties so far this season!

Left it late..
Delighted to have 3 points and 12 for the season.
Didn't go today so will wait for others to comment on whether it was smash and grab or deserved....

Burton didn't deserve to win the game.

We created some chances and were unlucky with shots that hit the woodwork, but it's another game that exposed our glaring deficiencies in forward areas and until that is addressed we will continue to struggle to keep our heads above water in this division.

A long hard season ahead for Town.

Thin dividing line between success and failure, and it seems everything is dropping right for Burton at the moment, because that result was harsh on us yesterday. As stated above Weslowski and Percival will make a difference when they return!

Understand what you are saying, but there is an element of making your own luck in football. We do that well, but I concede yesterday we where not our best and El khayati was poor.
I actually think town will finish mid table and just need to win ugly 1 0 and get some players back to come into form.

Similar to how we lost at the Greenhous last season so no problems in taking all 3 points with a last minute winner. Albion didn't play well but defensively gave very little away. Win when you play badly is a good recipe. Salop don't look as good a side as they were last season.

Strangely I thought the same about Burton but you have points on the board, it will be interesting to see how far apart we are when we meet in the corresponding fixture!

On the evidence of yesterday I can understand your reasoning, that was by far our worst display of the season so far, even when we don't perform we are not giving much away at the back which bodes well for us over the season. Perhaps Salop will improve when they get a few of the injured back on board.

Having Wesolowski and Knight-Percival back in the team will undoubtedly improve it but it won't address the deficiencies we have in forward areas.
