Halifax v Dover
Maidenhead v Weymouth
Solihull v Barnet
Stockport v Aldershot
Wealdstone v Bromley
Woking v Torquay
Yeovil v Altrincham
Wrexham v Notts County (5:20 ko)

Thought I'd get this going by saying Halifax v Dover is already pretty much off. Pitch inspection planned for tomorrow at 11am I believe. It's not got above freezing all week here so it's pretty much a token gesture inspection. However given the Dover chairmans comments this week I doubt they would be travelling for this game even if it was on.

we've been travelling to games on the day, so it could wait til Saturday

Judging by our gaffers comments in the local paper there may be an option for us to play an away game instead if its called early enough.
Another option mentioned on our messageboard Is switching the fixtures around so playing Dover away tomorrow instead of at home and playing at the Shay in April when the weather is better.

I know Wrexham will want their game on!
It should be as temperatures 0C at 5:20pm and at Notts midweek it was -3C and that was on.
There are bound to be Deadpool references on the TV as well

wouldn't think It will be switched - pitch will be snowed over.
someone on your forum is looking at the wrong forecast - it won't have warmed up by then

Reckon ours could be off, frozen solid down this way and for once colder than the north, minus 6 expected Friday night and with Hartlepool having a long way to go should be tomorrow they might call it. Although our groundsman does working wonders with our pitch with no games off for 6-7 years.

We offered to switch fixtures with Dagenham on Saturday but they've given Pools assurances that the frost covers are down and it should be good, kiss of death.

If it goes ahead we need to capitalise on their misery so far this season and get the win, hopefully not another Weymouth away fart on were we wouldn't of scored if we played all night.

Edit: Timing on these two posts!

Going to need more than frost covers with those temperatures, been cold since Sunday barely above freezing, snows melting now though. Saturday says max of minus two. Might have been a big error on our part not the switch but we’ve hardly played at home this season.

Our game will be off. If it hasn't been considered then we should propose the game be reversed and played on Bromley's 3G pitch instead.

Feels like a big test for us on Saturday. Wrexham will be buzzing with the takeover, we will be feeling confident following a great win on Tuesday and pretty good form for a few weeks now.
If we put two up and play expansively we'll be hard to beat, if we go cautious and play keep ball in our own half we'll get caught out and lose by the odd goal.

I know we're travelling down tomorrow, so makes sense to see how it's held up overnight before we set off.

If it passes I'd imagine a second one for Saturday also, who knows, like you say maybe should of switched it to up here?

Problem is tonight is minus 2 and tomorrow night minus 6, it will be off tomorrow is my guess. Should have switched it for sure.

The National League are just determined to keep us here, aren't they? This is a league-wide conspiracy and will get 25 million viewers on Panorama when it gets fast-tracked to air. Their charge sheet is as follows:

i) Allowing and/or ordering FC Halifax to use the cheapest ringpiece obliterating toilet roll as pitch covers, not once but twice
ii) Make sure Pools get as far as Chesterfield before ringing up Dover and wielding the axe on the game, 'oh look Pools are in Chesterfield get the fooker off lolz'. That is the actual quote by the way.
iii) Allow God to come up with the shittiest possible weather in the Dagenham area, so bad that if it was Siberia, people would stay at home, in order to get the game called off
iv) deliberately infect Barnet's first team with the tinpot variant of Covid that is specifically programmed to postpone sporting events
v) decide to ruin Pools absolutely massively big day on BT Sport at Eastleigh by phoning in their dressing room at half time and telling them that we are the best team the 5th tier has ever seen and they should get the fucking game off before they lose

I am disgusted with this AGENDA and I'm taking it to the European Court of Human...oh wait.

If that's it and you've just downed tools for the season I'm afraid you should be relegated a couple of divisions and results expunged.
Clubs have to work to the NL rules, it's not a free for all.
Nothing against Dover, went there last season, tidy ground and seemingly well run club but you're not bigger than the league whatever Parmenter thinks.

We have been much better the last 5 games, even with a few key injuries. The players seem to finally be settling into the 3-5-2 and looking a little more dangerous in attack, but we have started to get a bit leaky in defence.

Notts' defence looks incredible on paper (only 3 goals conceded in the last 10 games in the league) so I think it will be really interesting on Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised if we went 1-0 up and then conceded to settle for 1-1. I think I'd take a draw if you offered it to me now.

We've already ordered in triple quilted toilet roll for 2nd March just to give it that little extra chance. We are trying :cool1: :fish:

We will be buzzing but we've got the same crap squad with a couple of key injuries (Rob Lainton our keeper being the main one). We have been playing better so there is that, but I'd still expect us to struggle.

That said apparently the new owners have installed a new coffee machine for the players as one of their first actions so yoy never know.

Boreham Wood v Sutton will now be played at Sutton

We could easily switch ours to Aveley down the road but we wont! Temperatures not as low as predicted last night and it’s warmer already than what was forecasted.

Our defence is very good, but we’re kind of set up to defend as a team. Was an interesting interview with Ruben Rodrigues before this one, a Portuguese attacking midfielder we signed from the Dutch second tier, who was talking about how hard it’s been to adapt to how much defensive work he’s expected to do.

There’s no real secrets with us to be honest. We’re very solid and organised, we want to completely dominate possession, our two central midfielders will stay camped behind the ball. We don’t tend to put a huge amount of pressure on the opposition, but have enough quality players in attack that every so often one of them will score a wonder goal, or we’ll randomly pass our way through an entire team and walk it in.

I just wonder whether Tuesday night might give Ardley something to think about. We actually went more attacking than we have all season when we went down to ten men (presumably because you can’t expect to soak up pressure with a midfielder in goal) and created more chances than we have for ages.

Our game is MASSIVE.

Expect County to win 2-0 on their way to dicking this tinpot league.

Just to assure Notts fans, although it is arctic up here we have those fancy heaters on the pitch to smash the frost away.

Its winter. Who on here actually expected us to be able to play a home game during winter.

Our next home game is now 2nd of March by the time we get there. We will have only have played 1 home game since the turn of the year.

Who do you have out? And who should we worry about?

I am still not over Elliott Durrell basically relegating us out of the league on his own for Macc, despite not being paid for months.
