I've seen him once in our match against Bolton last Monday and I think he's a fantastic player for this level. Maybe the Port Vale fan watches too much Prem. It amazes me how he can come to that conclusion after watching about 2 mins of the Bolton highlights.
Bolton are having a bad patch like every team has but they'll be back.

He got sent off last season when we actively targeted him as their weak link, was a carthorse turning to get Harrison before committing the foul and in the reverse he played the bad pass which set up our goal.

He’s been awful against us pretty much every time!

I think I've seen Santos 6 or 7 times live now...enough to form an opinion. It's not a coincidence that he's been awful every time. He's started making mistakes against other teams too.

He's big....that's the only reason he stands out. Bolton were much better without him earlier in the season.

We were pretty poor on Saturday so delighted to come away with a point in the end after a well worked goal. We just did not keep the ball nearly well enough which was really frustrating. Its also clear that Brady does not trust a lot of the squad (understandable to a degree). He is going to have to mix it up though over the christmas period with such a run of games.

Thought Carlisle showed a lot of desire and energy, clearly still playing for the manager. Both of us had fortunate goals also, will be interesting to see if they can mesh their new big money signings with the remainder of the squad and not effect the squad harmony.

1st half you looked like us earlier in the season under Barton. Lots of possession but created nothing.
I think 2nd half it was a case of us trying to defend the lead and yourselves going for it.
Not sure why you take off your top scorer when you needed goals though?
Another opposition manager giving us no credit whatsoever, although we are improving and picking up points so lets see where it takes us.

He talks like he's Real Madrid's manager sometimes. He's the manager of a relatively big club for the 3rd tier of English football league (but not a particularly big club nationally) , he needs to get a grip on reality.
Much as I think that Bolton will finally get over the line this season, I'd enjoy the crowd turning on that weapon if they failed.

I thought he would have been a bit more grounded having come from Barrow.
Matt Taylor however was very complimentary about Bolton before and after the game, he is like a breath of fresh air after Barton.
