Off to wigan which I’m expecting a tough a game, think they’ve started brightly after the turmoil over the summer.

While we’re on the subject of ales and pubs, has anyone got any recommendations for wigan, when I’ve been before I usually drink on the outskirts then bus into the town but I’m parking on one of the off streets near the ground this time.

Close game but think we’ll come up just short, 2-1 to the hosts.

KTF.

Enjoyed the Swan and Railway and the Anvil when we were there in August. Went to The Berkeley initially but was told home fans only (accent gave me away as not being a Wiganer)

The town centre really isn't that far from the ground. I like drinking in John Bull's Chop House, got a decent outdoor bit at the front if it's sunny too.

It's an alright away day Wigan, shame they shut all the pubs for an hour at full time and herd us to the station. GMP are utter morons.

Away to Peterborough, our first visit there in 8 years since we was last at this level.

Good thing we won at Exeter last week, because I can see us losing this one. Their fire power should be too much for us. Our defending at this level leaves a bit to be desired at times.

Crikey, there's no Walker, House or Mandroiu for us today. No Jackson at the back either. If you look at our starting XI based on positions we're actually playing 5-5-0.

Things are that bad we've got Adelakun on the bench, who we didn't even give a squad number to this summer and after having a two week break, we've managed to end up being even thinner on the ground than when we were playing Sat/Tues/Sat!

Our new star signing Kayode is out injured already, no doubt with a long term injury so that's us fucked then because also the new club takeover is going to fall through thanks to our debt, so Simmo will leave us and we'll get relegated back to L2 and then next season we'll get relegated to the non-league and then the club will go bust.

So it's all going rather bad for us now..

Decent enough lineup for us I think. Arblaster and Ojo in midfield with Devine and Chislett just behind Willo is how I envisage our best lineup looking. Just wish Mitch Clark was available, hopefully nothing serious.

I can't even work our team out - it seems we're trying Will Ferry up front. Yes - left-back Will Ferry playing up front.

Some of our approach play has been really good just not quite got it right in the final third. Northampton definitely try playing more football when they have the ball than when seen them previously but do look like they’d be happy with a point.

Story of us really. Stats all look positive but need to be clinical, have a superb midfield this year but Wilson isn’t a lone striker and risk being punished for not taking chances.

One of the worst performances so far particularly the first half (Cambridge was probably the worst) but still won 2-0 away. Shrewsbury's manager Taylor talks a good game as he did at Walsall but seems to be going the same way.

Didn't deserve to win. Had the best chance at 0-0 and then Garrity scored from long range to finish us off. Port Vale looked threatening from half time onwards, without threatening the goal.

We keep marching on! Great win against a solid Cobblers, sounds thoroughly deserved and one of the better performances so far. 9 unbeaten now and purring nicely… winless Burton next for a chance to go top of the league Tuesday… and we all know how that will go being a Vale fan!

Fleetwood’s confidence is rock bottom.

They need some signings. Fast.

I think that’s right. To be honest I thought it was petering out to a draw as credit to the Cobblers they put in a really disciplined defensive performance even if never really having much ambition to try and win it. We looked very good outside of the final ball but thankfully Garrity popped up with one. Will say this, you’ve been one of the better away supports vocally at VP for a while.

Second in the table not that it counts for anything at this stage. Hopefully wipe out that negative GD at some point

Really good point but can’t help feel we missed the chance to get all 3. Some really good chances missed and we possibly could have had a penalty.

We're a disgrace and I think time has to be up for Wade Elliott. Not just bad results but truly terrible performances aside from Barnsley.

bit of justice done there i thought, lot of timewasting, lots of shirt pulling, ref had no control whatsoever and the timewasting directives well and truly out of the window now i guess, nice whilst it lasted.

no real big talking points, tgought the ball was out for their one and only chance and i assume that's what was given as it was a corner otherwise?

they came for a draw but we plugged away and got a deserved winner. first time ive felt we may actually be a good team if northampton have scouted us and decided to set up so negatively to try and get a point.

Really disappointed with how we played. Didn’t seem to get into any sort of rhythm against Vale today, they deserved to win as we didn’t do a lot going forward. I’m sure there’ll be an explanation for the 3 half time subs but it’s the first time I’ve left under Brady thinking we’ve not laid a glove on the opposition. Vale moved it nicely without having too much in the way of clear cut chances, but deserved to win it through a decent strike.

Decent away end today not matched by the offering on the pitch.

A game of two halves at Stevenage. Gifted chances galore and poor defending in the first half meant Stevenage went in 1 up, it should have been more. A much better second half for Charlton and the game management from Appleton was much better than it has been for us previously this season. Overall, we were still quite poor and there is a lot to work on.

Really poor officiating today, we could have had 4 penalties, with 2 being stonewall. In the end the referee awarded us the softest of the lot, probably influenced by the reactions to not awarding the other 3. A draw was probably a fair result in the end although Stevenage did waste some glorious chances.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts perfectly. You guys definitely deserved something from the game, far better than we were in the second half. I actually thought all four penalty shouts were pretty strong, we probably got lucky only one was given.

Last week it felt like two points dropped, this week, as disappointing as it was to concede late in the game, hard to argue that it wasn't deserved. If Reid had taken his one on one in the second half then maybe we'd be celebrating a win but it wasn't to be.

Having a goalkeeper really helps at this level. How surprising. (Not that Cheltenham ever threatened to score.)
