Other than the obvious top of the table clash, Bradford Vs Wimbledon should be an interesting one. After the efforts and exuberance of Dons Derby Delight maybe a good time to play them at home.

A big test for us. We've not played anyone sitting higher than twelth so far and I fancied Gills to do well before a ball was kicked this season.
Odds on us winning five on the bounce should be quite long really but we're playing pretty well overall, look solid with a back three and likely to score when going forwards.
There'll be a big crowd and feels like we've got something going this year.
Scoring draw, don't think we'll lose, might nick the win.

Accy away and on Sky. Not a combination that is often very friendly for us. Does seem for them with how its going at present it’s exposing just how much John Coleman propped them up over the years.

Hopefully we can draw confidence from the last two games but it’s a new opponent who will probably set up very different to either Chesterfield or Newport so won’t just be a case of pick up where we left off. Don’t think Moore needs to reinvent the wheel though with selection, seems to have found his best combination at the moment so stick with it.

Andy Woodman's cup final. He's already in the away changing room with the Apocalypse Now theme tune on on his iPod Shuffle. He's Blu-Taccing up print outs of all the horrible things Grimsby have said and done to him. He's doing press ups and practicing the knee slides he's gonna do in front of the Main Stand when Michael Cheek scores an 88th minute tap in to win the game. He's pushing the wall and shouting about how it just disrespected Bromley. It's Grimsby at Blundell Park in the Football League and he's been waiting for this day since May 1998.

1st v 2nd, best attack v best defence, big crowd expected, my 2nd most local away game and I'm at a wedding. Damn it all.

We had a lovely time at Meadow Lane last season, a 3-1 win on a Friday night with nearly a thousand Gills in attendance - probably most people's favourite away day last year. Anything resembling the same would be superb, but I'd snatch anyones hand off for a draw right here and now.

Our run of games lately has been tricky - Fancied Chesterfield at home, fancied Donny away, unbeaten Tranmere yesterday and now top of the league Notts coming up, not to mention 3rd placed Barrow at home the following week! With a squad regularly missing 6 or 7 first teamers each week our start is nothing short of miraculous at this point, the squad players really stepping up - Lapslie has been a changed player since being transfer listed, Joe Gbode probably didn't expect much gametime but he's coming on a bundle, and without the injury list we probably wouldn't have seen much of Jayden Clarke or Marcus Wyllie, but they're both contributing well.

Like I said, I'm happy with a draw from this one in honesty, but what a marker it'd be if we could win it.

2-2.

Second game of the season for me, was meant to be a weekend on the razz but flaky mates have let me down on that score so I'm taking my eldest along trying to improve her woeful Gills record (3 wins from 23 games).

Only been to Meadow Lane once before, 0-1 Gills wins last game of 98/99 I think, I'd happily see a repeat of that scoreline,.not sure we'll have the 2000+ that went that day though.

Definitely the biggest test we’ve had so far. Think the game will go the obvious way - we’ll have all of the ball and dominate it, but they’re a good enough team to defend well and be a threat on the break.

We’ve got real strength in depth now with most players fit and available, and options in how we set up. McGoldrick and Jatta gave Bromley nightmares as a genuine front two in the second half yesterday, which we hadn’t really done before.

I fear for us against Wimbledon.

3 Central defenders out injured, 4 if you count Callum Johnson who can play there apparently, means we will have to switch formations to a 442 or 443 with just 2 young loan central defenders available.

Cheltenham home, early KO, what a strange choice. Early start for Cheltenham hoards. Expecting a reaction to yesterdays performance, think Cook may shuffle the pack a little bit

THE TITLE DECIDER

not picking up points against any team in the top 7-8 was a real issue for us last season, so this is the game I’ve had circled for a while. Expect Gills to be very good, probably similar to other good teams at Meadow Lane last season - let us have the ball, use our big pitch and counter-pressing style against us with good enough players to exploit the space it leaves behind our midfield and wing-backs.

and we’ll just hope Crowley, Jones, Jatta and Didzy are good enough to win us the game

I'm 90% sure after the game most will say we weren't as good as they expected us to be - for my eyes we're solid, effective, functional, but not massively entertaining. And all the while we're picking up good points I'll take that all day! We'll almost certainly play as you say, we're good on the counter and we defend pretty well in the main. Missing players list is still a concern, especially with Coleman's red from yesterday meaning we're missing most of our central midfield options next week - Coleman, Dieng, J.Williams and McKenzie all probably out with just Armani Little available. We might tweak the shape we've been using or have to go with a square peg in a round hole for the day.

Think it's going to be our toughest game yet. Would be happy to get anything out of it with the players missing.

We are absolutely losing this one 1-0 or 2-1 in the last couple of minutes too.

Suspect this one could be a draw. I expect us to not go out usual all guns blazing approach and suspect a "respect the point" type message from both sides after the game

We're the home team and we're good enough to win. I hope we set out to win and don't go overboard trying to second guess Gillingham, we nearly came a cropper doing that yesterday in the first half shoehorning Cundy into the defence.

Chesterfield away - my son wanted to do this one, but the early kickoff has killed it given he has football himself in the morning.

I'm not bothered about not going. We're going to get battered.

Newport at home. We should be looking to win this one given Newports lack of fit defenders and leaky defence in their last 2 games. We rested Gotts and Eccleston yesterday (both had minor niggles so were not risked) and they'll both strengthen the team if they come back in. Farman will also be back after his 1 game ban.
The biggest threat in the game is probably the players thinking ahead to the Chelsea game the following Tuesday.

I'd be a bit disappointed if you couldn't win with 12 men.

It's a game at Accy that we should be targeting as a win, especially after the last 2 results, but our record there is pretty awful. It's been the scene of some really toxic games for us but I don't feel like they are the force that they were under Coleman.

Our team is stronger than theirs, so if we play to our maximum, we will win. Need to have a good attitude and put in the same effort that we did yesterday.

Big game, ground we never tend to do well at and have had some high profile fall outs from, always seem to get dragged into things we shouldn't and doesn't often end well.

They've yet to win, in dour form and we are flying after two results where we have really clicked into gear... what could possible go wrong!

Will it be "Typical Vale" or is this side different we will see. Need to be targeting a run of form now, we've had a really tough start on paper, Salford A, Solid Tranmere at H, Promotion hopefuls Chesterfield and Doncaster plus in form Barrow and at the time a flying Newport A so three games now against sides that haven't really started well and its these type of games we need to be taking points from if we want promotion but its never that easy, we have to approach it the same as Chesterfield or we will drop points if we are not at it as every team is capable in their own right.

Hopefully Debrah is fit and we can go same again as this formation and line up seems to work for us at the minute.

I think we should approach it the same as Newport, not Chesterfield.

If we don't beat these with the situation they're currently in, we never will.

We got battered by these when they nose dived out of L1 so wont take anything for granted, and that horrible draw at VP when they literally kicked, dived, full on Stevenage'd us and the referee give us a penalty after we'd scored which we missed!

If we can get our front 4 purring away like first half Saturday and the week before hopefully we can be ruthless. Really excited by that front 4 now Stockley is fit to spear head it and should be one of the best in the division with the quality it has.

Its a game most neutral will look at and say Vale win but as you and I have long suffered being Vale fans it never feels that way with us! Carlisle away last season? Not won in months... Vale in town here is your leg up!

Home to Harrogate. They're clearly no mugs as they showed against Donny. But we can't say we shouldn't be looking to pick up another win.

Only issue we have is, we're playing the worst brand of football since the days of Gudjon Thordarson, our best 2 attackers are out injured and there seems to be precious few signs we're going to improve as an attacking unit to ever hope for more than continuing to scrape 1-0s.

Expecting another excruciatingly boring game of football. Hoping for a win, but wouldn't be surprised with any result at this point.

Harrogate were very good defensively but we were really poor, too slow and our crossing was appalling. They just do us every time
