Your keeper made two unbelievable saves and another couple of good ones. I'm bewildered as to how anyone can criticise his performance....Uche was really close in with his header, so it would have taken a ridiculous save to keep it out.

Just seen the first penalty we should have had....you can tell it's a penalty by the reaction of the Charlton players and also the crowd near the incident were going nuts. Couldn’t see your claim for a penalty buy it seemed like only one guy was claiming for it.

Awful refereeing performance and both linesman I don't think understood the rules.
Seen it on Twitter, it would be very harsh but seen them given. Massey doesn’t have his arm out but it kind of rolls against it.

If he’d given that after not giving the other one we’d be pissed.

That result left me feeling angry yesterday, but now I've had time to reflect, I don't think we were terrible, Cheltenham were just stoic enough to keep the ball out of the net once they had something to protect and as much as I want to blame an incompetent ref for contributing to that result, ultimately it was 3 minutes of madness that cost us.

Add to that it looks like Robertson could be out for the season and all of a sudden we're looking in bad shape. Bolton will surely leap us now, and we cannot afford any more mistakes. Badly need new players in to stop the rot.

Cheltenham will be a League One team next season, I'm sure. The problem is, Pompey might well be too.

A much better 2 Nd half performance from Fleetwood, with a bit of luck we could have managed a draw but always up against a class side
Adam has got his work cut out and the feeling among Cods is we are going down. Not the end of the world, far from it. The club have some quality players and thriving academy, better to regroup in a lower division, rebuild and go forward from there. The real question is who will be going down with us, not a nice thought but it's a tough old world out there

We can't keep missing glaring chances. Too many recently is costly us. Kamara guilty of 4 in the last 2 matches, all one on ones that he managed to much up. Bishop 2 or 3 over xmas. Whyte one on one with the keeper v Fleetwood. Saydee should have got the winner v Bristol Rovers. Lane poor touch when on a plate up at Exeter. Seems alot is going against us this season which makes being top at the moment a real acheivment. How many other teams could have had 2 of of the first choice back four out, plus 2nd choice RB. Captain was out for 2 months. Bishop was out for a month. Yengi (backup striker) was injured for 6 weeks. Lowery played first 45 mins and not played since. Scully only just back after knee problems. Gavin Whyte, not had a run of games, either injuries or personal issues. Both attacking midfield players out with long term injuries as well at Yengi being with Australia until early February. I think most of the starting lineup at just falling foul of having to play alot of games with little rotation.

To be honest everything I read on here suggests most teams have similar injury woes. I am not sure what has happened in recent years but most teams seem to have near enough an entire 11 out at any given point.

I know we have several players that have been missing the entirety of the season or for several months. Even now we still have at least 7 or so missing, it has been the minimum for over a year or so now.

More demand maybe? Last season our pitch was getting the blame and we've spent shed loads on it in the summer, pitch looks great even now this season but still have had a raft of injuries like we did in previous seasons.

We've played 38 games this season so far mind which is nuts, it would have been 40 had we not had the Internationals to postpone a couple of them which hasn't helped.

We had loads of calf injuries early this season which they looked at but for example we played 9 games in December with the cups and for all the moaning Jurgen Klopp does he want's to try managing in this division with 4 games over Christmas and a tiny threadbare squad that most of us at this level can only afford.
